What an enjoyable dinner! Passing through Flagstaff on historic Route 66, it seemed fitting to stop for dinner at a throwback restaurant attached to Howard Johnson’s. The atmosphere added quite a bit to our experience, but the food could stand on its own anywhere. I had the chicken fried steak. My son had chicken Parmesan. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask if the had apple pie.

Great food and service. I ordered the French toast and hash browns for breakfast. Love to visit again and try other items on the menu!

Terrible! Took a chance to get off the beaten path and go somewhere that was not a chain restaurant. Service was terrible! NEVER got our food after waiting almost an hour. Left without actually tasting the food. If food was a terrible as the service, then the am truly sorry!!

Breakfast was good! I had a chorizo omelet with country style potatoes. The omelet was large and filling, my cup was always full, and the staff friendly. Would recommend.

Unforgettable in every regard. Mid-Century charm, embellished with the icons of a lifelong love of the railroad, as well as dedication to the ideals of hospitality make this possibly the best breakfast stop in Flagstaff. The community of the Route lives here.

Wow the food is amazing here. Best hash browns ive ever had. Big portions. Good prices. Service could be a bit friendlier. Love this place!

A classic diner right on the historic route 66. Our son loved the train on a constant journey around the ceiling, and the two riding train toys ($0.25 each). The food is classic diner fare, prepared quickly and with good service. Overall, a nice place for kids!

Server forced our group to all pay on one card

Old style diner on main drag in Flagstaff. Good selection, always go here with train loving son when in town. Model trains inside up on high track, lots of route 66 / railroad signs. Have tried most of what they serve, rarely disappointing. My son recommends peanut butter shakes, green chili stew is good as well. Mostly same folks serving since 2014 when I came back to AZ, always a good place to stop.
