We've had breakfast here several times. We are from Ash Fork so we're fairly local. This place has a diner setting including booths and counter settings. The food is excellent! I had the truckers special and my husband had the bisquits and gravy. Truckers special had a steak burger, with your choice of hash Browns or "those potatos" which I had, eggs and a bisquit and gravy. The bisquit is huge and very light and fluffy! Gravy was great! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a good filling meal. Large portions, and the have vegetarian options for other meals. Go there enjoy!

Classic greasey spoon. Service is moderately good with generally below average food, but for the price, atmosphere, and hearty portions, nothing usually beats The Crown Railroad. Would recommend!

It is a quaint restaurant with miniature trains. It is next to the motel . The prices are reasonable. If you order the jumbo pancakes, they will fill you up . I got coffee which was nice and hot . The waitress kept it topped off. They have a big menu with lots of choices. They have a page devoted to omelets. It is a clean restaurant with friendly and prompt service .I liked that the syrup was warm . It was a nice touch . I would recommend them.

Friendly waitress, great coffee, and pretty good food. Only gave 4 stars because my omelette was a bit watery because it looks like they used frozen spinach, and "those potatoes" were good but really salty. The portion size was huge though, so be hungry when you go there. Overall a good place to eat and I'd go there again.

This was uncle Leonard Thompson favorite place to eat... ,now I know why . The waiter and the service was superb. The meal was really well prepared 👌🏾. Definitely be going back.

Hands down one of THE best diners I’ve ever had the pleasure to dine at! Firstly, the atmosphere of the diner was gorgeous, with the little train that strolled around the building; and the comfy booths. As for the staff, we were greeted by a very hospitable older gentleman who immediately seated us at a table and ordered our drinks right away. Our waiter, who was responsible for the friendly and welcoming service made us fell welcomed. Our group all enjoyed the hot, fresh, and delicious food that we all ordered. I ordered the fish and chips that were absolutely exceptional, I’d say that these were the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The pollock was tender and flaky, the batter and crispy and there was no soggy crust to be seen. The fries were also hot, crispy, and had a soft interior.
I’d like to give a huge thanks to Dustin, our waiter, who gave us a fantastic experience. Definitely coming back when I come into flagstaff!

Great Food for so many years. We enjoy the variety of food served. Great Menudo😋👍🏽 Although through out the years and being closed for COVID, the restaurant has become worn and is NEED of a major face lift and major repairs. Also the staff seems like they need a facelift also, so to speak. Some of the staff members are friendly and greet you with a smile and are there for any assistance needed. But a majority of the staff including management seem to always be in a such a bad or grumpy mood or seem to be dragging. I don’t know if the restaurant has new owners but in the past the old staff use to be always on top of things, very attentive, friendly, service with a smile and getting it done. Although times have changed and people move on, we still enjoy going but wish the staff would be more up beat and actually enjoy their job. Thank you for the great food but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix your Bathrooms, repairs are badly needed. It’s time to remodel and start anew. The booths need to be reupholstered badly, the furniture needs to be replaced and a splash of new paint won’t hurt either. If your reading this review, don’t get me wrong…the food is great, it just needs some sprucing up in All the other areas.

Run down, broken seats. DIRTY. The vibe is so DOWN. Went on Saturday dinner and they BARELY had any people eating. Older man that was seating people looked like he hated his job. The woman cashier was just careless and also looked like she hated her job. No table manners whatsoever. They seemed bothered every time customers would show up. Thankfully our server Devin was very attentive. The kids seemed ok with basic chicken and fries. The food tasted old (soggy soups, overcooked pasta and unseasoned chicken)
Maybe at one point this place was really good but not definitely not anymore.
Won’t be coming here again.

Great little cafe that my kids really enjoyed. The food was all rapt good too. Prices were a little high, especially for kids options and service wasn’t the friendliest but we were thrilled to have a place the kids enjoyed that also tasted good.
