The Crown Railroad Café

A very charming restaurant to eat at in Flagstaff that has good home cooked style food. I ordered the Chef salad. My spouse ordered the hot turkey plate while my daughter had the meat ravioli. Coffee was hot. Clean restrooms. Fast and friendly service. Good size portions. My daughter loves the ravioli here.

Food was very good. Personally, I don't like so many choices but the variety of options make it a great choice for everyone. Service was very friendly and attentive. It is very open and easy to make eye contact with the server, who was always looking around and ready to help. The kids loved watching the train circle overhead (a few adults did also). It's a classic route 66 diner/cafe, that is the real thing. Not a new restuarant trying to recapture a bygone era, but an actual living dinosaur.

Excellent food and service! Enjoyed the train alot, inside the restaurant. Great atmosphere. Motel is now a homeless shelter! Wonderful!!

The owner was at the restaurant, greeting people with a very kind smile. Asking how their doing and if needing anything else. Staffs were also very friendly and helpful. Food is very delicious..

The restaurant was nasty with worn in grime and gross. The floor, booths, and menus were disgusting. Vintage doesn’t have to by nasty.

A must see collection of railroads plus and operating one for the amusement of visitors. The service was neat, attentive, courteous. The meal was great. Really enjoyed the experience here. It’s railroad themed restaurant on Route 66 that is across from the real railroad that compliments the sightseeing with comfort food meal.

They had great flavorful breakfast food and the staff was very kind. The interior was wonderfully decorated in retro decor that was not tacky and it suited the vibe of the restaurant very well!

Slow service, cold food, high prices plus a service fee of some sort. It seemed there were only 4 people trying to make the whole restaurant work. I wont be back to this restraunt.

Food was delicious but I had to work on my own gluten free meal. The waiter was really kind in letting me know that the fries are breaded so I ordered coleslaw as my side and it was very good. I also ordered a tuna “sandwich” with extra lettuce and no bread. The restaurant is cute and retro with a full size model train going around inside the restaurant. The Fabuloso smell was overpowering. Would come again if the cleaning products didn’t smell so strong.

Great food, huge portions! Super nice people!
