Steep Leaf Lounge

Cute little local breakfast spot in downtown Flagstaff. Loved my bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. The seating arrangements are fun and inviting. Cool atmosphere. Love the vibe! Totally worth checking it out while you are in town.

Got a peppermint matcha with oatmilk — best matcha I’ve ever had. If you don’t like matcha (for that fishy taste) the peppermint completely cancels it out, meanwhile the matcha and oatmilk perfectly balances the peppermint, so it’s still there but not overwhelming.

Steep is such a cute tea shop in downtown Flag! I personally love the window seats. They were doing counter/to-go only during the peak of the pandemic, but I’m so glad it’s open again because the vibe inside is great. In addition to the drinks and pastries, they have a wide selection of loose leaf tea: green, white, black, and herbal. Steep is a great place to look for gifts for birthdays, Mother’s Day, etc. if the person likes tea. My favorite drink is the lavender mint chai.

Very nice place, good temperature inside, delicious drinks! I would recommend going here.

It was the worst Chai latte I've ever had. It tasted like the water had come out of a coffee pot.
My husband was disappointed that they didn't have a cappuccino. He ordered the drip coffee and said it was mediocre.
The place is cute,but it doesn't look clean enough for me.
I can't recall whether they offered gluten free baked goods.
It seemed overpriced as well.
We went to a Bakery down the road and had a much better experience.

On a cold, spring morning in Flagstaff, we came upon a small lounge/bakery while looking for a place to eat breakfast before continuing traveling.
The amount of teas to choose from is very diverse, and we ended up having Matcha and White Halo teas, both of which were very flavorful and beautifully made.
The croissant and muffin sandwiches were tasty as well, and being a vegetarian, they removed the meat in the making. :)
The atmosphere is very cozy in the building, and the organization of tables, chairs and pillows is very great to feel at peace.

I don’t live in Arizona but I love visiting flagstaff. I ALWAYS make a stop at Steep. The atmosphere is great and the employees are very well educated on tea. Best Masala Chai I’ve ever had in my life. I started ordering loose leaf tea directly from their website, and they sent me a handwritten note and a free sample. This tea is so good, no sugar or cream needed. I want to order one of everything.

I'm so excited about this place!! They have so many types of tea, both flavored and unflavored, and fun tea drinks to go along with that.
They also offer coffee, if you're with a non-tea drinker, but they are predominantly a tea place. It seems like a great place with cute spots to sit and share a pot of tea with a friend, and also has a wide range of cups/steeping equipment if you need it!

Great food and bev options, located in a cool spot with great ambience and customer service. I highly recommend this shop and especially love it’s window seating. The passion jasmine tea is worth a visit on it’s own!

The upstairs tenant came down and starting making a scene and harassing the employees about her water pressure and door access, which made for an uncomfortable experience. But the service was wonderful, the tea was delicious, and the baristas were absolutely delightful!
