I came here with a group prior to our day trip out to the glacier. We wanted a quick place to stop and get breakfast before our drive.
The restaurant is laid back and inviting, with exciting decor from Alaska throughout. There were all types of people dining from locals to tourists such as my group.
Service was good and the staff was friendly. Ordering is done at a counter and they bring your food to your table and seat you when it is ready.
The Breakfast Burrito was amazing and the perfect way to start the morning. They offer it in varying flavors/meats. If you haven't yet had Reindeer in Alaska, here's a great place to try it. The burrito was nicely pressed to give the shell a crispy texture.
Overall, it was a great quick stop and a nice way to support a local place.

We stopped for some coffee and food. Very popular and busy on a Saturday morning but the line moved pretty fast. Food was great! Kids liked the free books in the hallway.

Found Vagabond Blues on a whim. What a gem!! Our breakfasts were fabulous; quiches, breakfast burritos, ham & Swiss croissant and so many sweet treats. The lattes we so pretty and delicious! Thank you for accommodating our party of eight. We also enjoyed chatting with the local coffee guys getting pointers on our trip.

Great coffee and other food items. Parking is in street but plenty space around. Staff is welcoming and all the items we got tasted great.

Great place for less traditional breakfast. We had Alaska quiche, mushroom panini and ham and cheese croissant with coffee. Everything is delicious. There were also plenty of options for cookies and other pastries. Get the larger coffee cause you'll finish it faster than you think. Restrooms are down the hall.
Folks are super friendly and place is spacious with a nice store across the way.

I haven’t seen latte foam this rich since I paid $9 for one in Seattle. Here you have top notch coffee and friendly people besides. Haven’t tried the food but if the coffee is any indication, 5⭐️.

Their menu always satisfies my cravings whether it be soup, salad, panini, burrito or pastry. Plenty of vegan and GF options. Enjoy a selection of pottery and work from other local artists that decorate the cafe.

Great sandwiches, the fruit and veggie wrap was always my favorite! The ingredients sound weird for a wrap but it totally works, this is the only place I've found that makes anything like it too. The turkey cranberry wrap is good too, and of course they make great coffee.

Best coffee, tea, pastries, and lunch items in Palmer! The staff is very friendly and considerate! I love the care that they put into making each item. My English Breakfast Tea never tasted better and the cranberry orange scones were superb! Additionally, their quiches are at the top of my list! Highly recommend!

Walked into restaurant to ask how late they were open during Colony Christmas. Was told 8.00 pm. We walked in at 7.20pm. Placed our orders. While waiting were then told they were closing in 15 minutes because it had and I quote "been a long day". Many people work 10 to 12 hour shifts in this world and do more then make drinks and serve food. Like actual hard work.
Don't tell a customer who spent a ridiculous amount of money on 6 items that you'll be open to a certain time. Then decide after the order is placed and you are tipped that your going to close earlier then you said.
Very poor way to run a business.
