Good food but they are not the best at service. Have had them stand behind the counter without acknowledging me for long enough that it awkward and I just left and went to Palmer downtown deli for a panini the size of a hotdog bun. Sometimes it takes them 30+ minutes to warm a pre-made burrito and put it on a plate with $2 sour cream and salsa. Great food though.

Great, consistent food with vegan and gluten free options. Friendly staff, I've been going here for more than 20 years and have never had a bad experience.

Good food. My only complaint is the and attitude from employees has been the same everytime I ve gone. I asked about a sandwich and the girl at the register responded as condescending as possible that she doesn't eat meat. Good for her she doesn't have to be rude. And everytime I go in they never smile it's always an awkward exchange of conversation. They dont call out drinks so you have to guess if its yours. They do have good fresh food though.

Vagabond Blues is a wonderful place! Their soups are always tasty. They always have a good selection of gluten free food and treats/pastries. This is a big bonus for someone who has Celiac's! On top of that, they have good prices and their service is always top notch. Thank you for being excellent for so many years, Vagabond Blues!! I have been going there since 2010 back when I was in high school and it's been amazing every time! 😊😊🤗

Vagabond Blues is an awesome quiet busy sandwhich shop. There coffee and soup is amazing. When I ordered my sandwhich today
It came with some foods I was allergic to. I'm so happy that they were so kind and apologize for the mistake! When I got everything re made every staff there made me so happy! Very very happy with my visit. Thank you.

The most amazing home made Soups I’ve ever had! I don’t usually like minsteon, but really enjoyed theirs!
The Broccoli soup is to die for!
High quality coffees and teas prepared and served perfectly by friendly and professional baristas!
I never pass through Palmer without stopping here!
Again the Broccoli soup...!

A great place to grab coffee or lunch with friends

This is such a great cafè. It is such a cozy place to sit and talk with someone over coffee. There isn't too much noise, and they have a large open dining area, so you won't be getting bumped into here. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here.

I absolutely love Vagabond Blues. I always stop by there whenever in Palmer during the day. It's a little hipster cafe (hence the name) that is centrally located. I recommend going during the lunch hour and getting a lunch combo. You get to choose between two types of soup, pasta salad and bread. They have live music from time to time and artwork from local artists on the wall.
One piece of advice would be that if you order your food to-go, check to make sure everything is in there. More than once I ordered a lunch combo and didn't get bread or pasta. But other than that this is a wonderful place to meet up with a friend and eat delicious, healthy food!

This is the best local hangout in Palmer. Great sandwiches, soups, salads, cookies, coffee and tea. The atmosphere is convivial and customers can linger over laptops or knitting. The shop is located in a building with several nice local businesses. For visitors to the Mat-Su who want to go where locals go, this is the place.
