New York Cafe

Delicious food. Easy and pleasant atmosphere. They accommodated my special request (scallops with the Mediterranean Salad instead of cod) and then made sure I was happy with it. Which I was.

This place has been through a few owners over the past 5 years, but overall, a good coffee shop that has held its own no matter what. As of this writing (4 July, 2017), they offer some Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes (Falafel was pretty good, and some amazing desserts) that are an exciting change of pace from the Ketchikan Usuals of Filipino/Asian or Pizza.

Flight from Michigan late...arrived after cafe stopped serving.

Inn on Creek Street arranged for the cafe to keep some halibut fish and chips warm till I got there. Great food. Great staff.

Cofee had absolutely no flavor.
It looked dark but tasted like hot water.

Great food, great service!! The coffee is also VERY GOOD. The Salmon Cakes are mouth watering. The chowder is very yummy. The desserts looked delicious.

What's not to love? Came here for breakfast while in town visiting, and was in awe of the menu choices, and the quality was spectacular. I'm born and raised in Southeast, and grew up with Ketchikan as a school adversary. New York Cafe has me looking forward to future visits to "SKetchikan" ;-)

I go here 3-5 times a week it is definitely ketchikans best the have specials every week. Great breakfast and a great atmosphere. So many great vegan and vegetarian options as well!

Love the lamb burger can't get enough of it .

Super tasty salmon breakfast dish. Nice layout and awesome coffee. I’d give it five starts if the price came down a bit.
