Nothing special about this place. Breakfast is ok. Both soups available the day we came tasted the same…a bit water down though… Very critical about their time constraint for breakfast even if you waited in line and got there before noon…they are so busy that they couldn’t care less…

This place was very tasty and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend the French toast. We are only in town for a few days but will be coming back tomorrow (and I would like to make it clear that I do NOT normally revisit restaurants when I travel).
Also they ARE currently open for indoor and outdoor eating, just bring a mask.

Great service, fast and very good customer service.

Excellent generous-sized omelets (made with real eggs!), thick slab country bacon & delicious Sourdough pancakes or toast. Good strong coffee.. Their jams are all housemade -- definitely try the orange marmalade with candied orange peel! Get there early, or the line is out the door into the parking lot. Popular with the locals as well as Alyeska tourists

Dreams are made of the smell of baking bread when you pull up to the Bake Shop. I think we could have ate every meal here! We did breakfast which was delicious and we got a loaf of sourdough that provided us meals for the rest of our week long trip. So delicious! Must stop!

Fantastic sandwich shop after a long hike!
Large portion sizes and really liked looking at the local artwork on display

Great quick breakfast location near Alyeska in Girdwood. You bus your own table and the staff can get a little cranky if you fail to do so.

Very cool place. We ordered coffee, a cinnamon roll, turkey sandwich, and pizza . Everyone was happy.

Soup was good but no bread. Asked for bread, lady said they were out of bread. I could see lots of bread behind counter. I asked for a slice of the bread. Lady said that bread was for making sandwiches. Store then closed. And the hot cocoa tastes like swiss miss for $3.

One of the must-stop places in all of Alaska for my family. Sandwiches, soups, bread, and cinnamon rolls are delicious, crave-able, and absolutely worth stopping for. Very happy they decided to start accepting credit cards, as then I can buy more mouthwatering food. When in doubt, go with the bottomless soup bowl and bread/bun.
