Probably the best bacon I've ever had. Famous for their sweet rolls for good reason. Pretty busy during brunch time!

Happy to say I still have free coffee for life and an amazing mug to add to the collection. At the base of Alyeska, it's the perfect spot to eat breakfast surrounded by stunning local art and photography and then ski the rest of the day. Some of the best breakfast I've had and definitely the best in Gridwood. Wouldn't miss!

They had the best sugar cookies with M&M's! They are huge and if I remember correctly they were around $8.00 each. I would definitely go back.

Very busy, beautiful art work, our hot drinks weren't very hot and cinnamon roll was large but over baked. Staff was rushed but pleasant. What we really enjoyed were all the gorgeous plants and flowers outside. A delightful surprise!!!

Such a cozy, bustling place to stop for a hot meal-- I loved it! I truly enjoyed my gluten-free Northern Bean soup, and Chai tea (very creamy!) And the malt vanilla shake was great. This place is also famous for sourdough bread. ~ If you're used to East Coast pizza, go for the soup or a sandwich instead.
It can be quite hard to get a table here-- and if you're a group of 3 or less you may need to share-- but it's totally worth it!

Asking if something was celiac safe because my fiancé has celiac disease is always hard, but getting made fun of and having them put things in our food was not ok.

The drip coffee was good, the employees were rude, almost entertaining.

Everything we ordered was purposely made wrong.

My order was ok because I poured my own coffee except for my cinnamon roll.

I dont know if the cinnamon roll was supposed to have globs of butter instead of frosting, but that seemed odd.

The manager Austin, at this place is rude and has no customer service skills. They forgot to include part of our order and then said it was our problem that they forgot it. They rolled their eyes and refused to talk to us, acted like a 4 year old. This place is also not really a bake shop, it’s more of a sandwich shop. I’d avoid if possible.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my wife had the farmers omelet. They were both mediocre, but decently priced. The breakfast sandwich was not very flavorful.

The Food is OK, But expensive. Plus their hours are ridiculous! Just drove out here from Anchorage to discover That they close At 2pm Except on Friday and Saturday. I read on it last time that they closed at 3pm, which is still ridiculously early for Anchorage people. Closed Mon, and Tue. Call ahead Before you drive all the way out here to find that they have changed their hours again like My friends and I just did. It won't happen again. Wish they'd make their hours more accommodating.

The food here is good and the sweet rolls are very good with plenty of butter to smear over it. Don't ask to warm up the roll staff said no even without a line of customers. Had a lunch here consisting of hot ham and cheese and a breakfast as well. The omelet was good but had deli meat for ingredient. The coffee was good as well. Only bread offered is made from sourdough as well as French toast and pancakes.... Hope you like sourdough!
