The Southern Grind Coffee House at the WHARF

This place is so cute! I loved the lavender vanilla drink and the philly cheese steak was delicious!

I have been working next to the southern grind here at the wharf for many years. I would like to say they never disappoint. If your looking for a great cup of joe, or some great put together food look no further than southern grind coffee house! I have consistently applied my coffee addiction to the Grind, it has sufficiently supplied me with great service and even better quality coffee/food and service. ☝️ 🤙😎

HORRIBLE SERVICE/EMPLOYEES!!!!! I stopped by this shop in uniform while on lunch break. I do not like going places in my uniform because I hate the attention drawn. I figured it'd be quick and easy and id go on with my day. To start I was never greeted even when I approached the lady to order. Instead I was treated with a horrible attitude and felt VERY UNWELCOME! I would have left but needed the pick me up after a 18 hour shift. So i placed my order and waited for my coffee, after seeing people who ordered more than me get their items before me and noticing a coffee set to the side i approached and asked if I was forgotten. The woman rolled her eyes and handed me the coffee that was set aside. What upset me the most wasn’t the fact that I was treated so poorly, what I was most shocked by was after I asked to speak to a manager I was told the owner (Jamie) was there but was “too busy” to see me. I checked the reviews on this place and read some complaints with similar issues, the way the owner responded was very rude and unprofessional I am glad she dodged me because i can only imagine how she talks to people in person. Its hard to believe such a beautiful shop in such a beautiful location is ran so poorly.

My friends and I have been there for coffee and have bought a few things from the gift shop. Service was wonderful, the store has such a great vibe, reasonable prices, and a great selection of beachy decor and clothes.

I feel this place is a very cool and unique in it's own way. Must try the lavender vanilla crème drink. I loved it.

This place was so adorable! The maple cinnamon latte and creme Brule latte were very good. We hand croissant breakfast sandwiches and sausage Biscuits and they were both very good. They were pretty busy, but the service was fast.

My daughter and I had been walking around the Wharf for a few hours and got a bit famished. We decided to stop at The Southern Grind Coffee House for a bite to each. I ordered a burger with mozzarella cheese. It was really good. Caught me by surprise. Didn't expect such a delicious burger from a coffee house. Also had a strawberry banana smoothie and it was also really good. Would definitely go back.

Great little coffee shop with a lot of great options. If coffee isn't your thing, or it's later in the evening, has alcoholic options. Kids enjoyed the gelato!!
