The Strawberry Pecan Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette salad dressing was a taste of Heaven on Earth. Deliciousness.

I love to meet friends for breakfast and coffee. I'm a local and have been here many times for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and a snack. What more can I say? I keep coming back! It must be great!

Super cute spot!! Coffee is amazing! Friendly employees, and great atmosphere! Adding this place to the list of spots to stop while in orange beach! đ

Awesome coffee - best Java chip frappe I've ever had. Adorable decore and unique gifts and delightful baked goods. We liked it so very much we went to breakfast at the 2nd location (Hotel Indigo) on our last day of vacation. Just a great relaxing atmosphere. I wish we had one in Chattanooga.

Stopped by with husband since we were attending an event nearby.
Hubby had caramel macchiato and I had créeme brûlée, both hot. They were excellent! The shop was super nice and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Nice seating area indoors and outdoors.

Amazing atmosphere and good coffee. It's rare to find a cafe with coffee and pastries of equal quality, but Southern Grind has done it! I've been in the coffee world for a wild, and this has been one of my favorite places for years!

Great gelato, terrible customer service! Iâve been here a few times and they were generally nice. However tonight we came in about 5:55 to get the best Cookie Monster gelato weâve ever had. First, we were never greeted. We walked around the store for a few minutes looking at all the pretty things and when we approached the gelato station at 6 o clock on the dot they were taking the gelato out of the window. Instead of saying anything at all they continued to ignore us. My friend finally asked, are yâall closed? Which they replied âthe kitchen is.â I asked if we could just order gelato and she said only the ones that are sitting on the counter behind her, which were 2 or 3 random flavors. Shocked by the rude behavior and unwillingness to help, we left. We went back about 5 minutes later to ask why on Friday we could get gelato 20 minutes before closing but on Sunday itâs picked up an hour before closing and were told cleaning the gelato station is time consuming so they pick it up at 6. One girl then offered to give us some gelato if we know what flavor we want. I requested 4 scoops of Cookie Monster and received roughly about 2-3 scoops because the other girl who scooped it was so angry that we came back to enjoy some ice cream before a three hour car ride. This was supposed to be the cherry on top of our little weekend getaway during a hard time in life and turned into a super upsetting experience. I never really write negative reviews but I have worked in the service industry for about 5 years now, and I want the owner to see and hopefully understand and express to their team how important customer interactions and experiences are for the success and longevity of a business, and such a cute business at that. I will be back however hoping for a better experience next time!

We drove by this charming and inviting place on our way to breakfast and decided to try it. The charm stopped when we went to give our order. She was not helpful and I felt like I was a nuisance to her. I am a patient person and felt she could be having a bad day. I tried giving kindness back. Not happening. They got our order wrong and was there were items we didnât order too that we were charged for. The WORSE part is my bacon had a short dark hair on it and my 5 year old had the same type of hair on her waffle ( we all have long blonde hair except for my husband who is completely grey. When I took it back to show them they were flippant about it. Didnât apologize or anything. Oh and my husband asked for sugar and they rudely answered where he could get it. I called back to let the manager know and she offered to replace my food. I was in the car headed back. , but I wouldnât take another chance anyway. She seemed flippant as well. I was sadden by this as it put a damper on our vacation that day.

Love to stop there for a coffee and sit down to relax while we are at the Wharf.
