Carpe Diem Coffee & Tea Company

Mobile is so lucky to be home to a few amazing local coffee shops and Carpe is one. Lots of college kids as well as the older crowd fill the tables. My only complaint is finding parking can get tricky during the week.

It has been a while since I’ve gone here but what a fun coffee shop. It is exactly what you’d want in a local shop. Seating and an environment that encourage conversation and reading good books. The coffee and pastries are good too.

If you are able to find parking this place is absolutely the best stop for coffee or a pastry if you would like. They have amazing customer service even when they are super busy and prices are great! If you are ever on Old Shell Road this place is a must stop for any hot or cold beverage. There lemonades are awesome as well.🙂

Very relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious coffee with a wide variety of sources and roasts. A must try for coffee lovers!
Hospitality is good, but staff could push it to the next level and engage customers as they enter the shop.

Seize the day! We got a bagel but it was a very normal bagel, nothing special. The coffee's great though.

The vibe is great and definitely their greatest asset. I was visiting Mobile and went twice during a three day trip. Their espresso is only ok, but certainly fine for their specialty drinks. Vietnamese iced coffee had great flavor.

Very cute little coffee shop, obviously popular with local students. Only wish there was more parking, we had to find some a ways away!

Best coffee shop around hands down. Don't let these other negative comments from people without tastebuds. They obviously have zero taste in what coffee is supposed to taste like. You'll probably find them in a local Starbucks.
