The coffee at carpe diem is so awesome... There's no bitterness and it goes down so smoothly. The people there are so friendly and kind. The pastries are awesome too.

Great place to study or read or catch up with a friend or for coffee of course. I loooove getting a white chocolate mocha w soy milk and some caramel pumped in there. So so good. They have quite the assortment of snacks and some other things. Awesome little place. I don’t go there often enough.

The best coffee in Mobile. Excellent fresh baked goods. The reason for three stars is the inefficient ordering and pick up process. There's been many times I've stopped to make a purchase only to turn around because of the log jam at the front door. Just today, I was in line and a couple came to the front door and turned around because they couldn't get in. I would prefer to spend my money here but not if I'm in a hurry.

Stopped here while driving to Florida and it was the cutest place. I LOVE that they offer the monin natural coffee syrups!! I ordered the frozen almond milk mocha and it was delicious! Great coffee, pie and breakfast sandwich! Stopping here on our way back to Austin.

We decided to come here for breakfast during our car ride home from Texas after reading the outstanding reviews. The reviews don't lie, this place is amazing. My iced cappuccino and breakfast sandwich were absolutely delicious. It is a BIG sandwich too; I was not expecting that. Usually when you go to coffee shops they don't give you that much food.

Probably my favorite coffee shop ever. (After Bluestem Bistro in Manhattan, KS. But I'm biased) Thank you Carpe for keeping me sane during Grad School. Service is phenomenal and everything on the menu rocks. Great selection and great atmosphere.

The atmosphere is great for a chill afternoon or for a studying day. The coffee doesn't taste like coffee though.

Love this place. As soon as you open the door you're hit with an overwhelming sense that day is gonna be alright. The coffee aroma hits you with the right notes and the Breakfast is delightful. I always get the everything bagel with egg, Sausage and cheese. But they also have fresh muffins and other various treats that are made in house. But for real the breakfast bagels are on point.

I love their coffee, and the better testimonial is from my parents from southern India who take their coffee as seriously as Alabama does football.

Love the flavor, aroma and, the taste. You can also get something to eat, a small bite and it's not disappointing.

As for the ambience, it's rustic, cozy, and great for casual catching-up, a date, or just some peaceful solitude with beau cuppa.

I am a visitor from out of town. So glad I found this place! I ordered the iced Irish Cream Latte everyday (sometimes twice a day) and it honestly is the best I have had. Wish I could take them back to Birmingham with me!
