Dine in is usually a great experience but I don’t recommend ordering online - especially if you have kids in the car and can’t go in. There is also a chance, depending on what site you use to order, they will “misplace” your order. The food is pretty dang good. Only do the sausage if you like a very herby flavor.

I’m not really sure where to start so I guess I’ll say that we did have a great server, she was very helpful and kind.
The coffee and food was subpar to say the least. My coffee had grounds at the bottom and I asked for a new one which they did.
My scrambled eggs tasted like boxed eggs, avocado was glossy (looked plastic), the fruit was half fresh, half canned syrupy peaches. The only good tasting thing on the plate was the bacon.
Husband got chicken and waffles that look the exact opposite as what is advertised. 3 lightly fried strips on a pretty standard waffle. Price was $50 for just an okay experience.
Probably won’t be coming here again…

I ordered Eggs Benedict. The "poached eggs" were much closer to hard boiled than poached. I ended up eating a ham slice with an English muffin. The waitress did not return to the table to ask if everything was OK for so long that I gave up and ate the ham and muffin. She offered new poached eggs, but at that point, I had nothing left to eat them with, so no! I ordered Eggs Benedict. I did not order poached eggs and ham with an English muffin.

I’ve frequented here a few times. My favorite menu item is the gluten friendly lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. (Don’t knock it til you try it) This visit was for a quick pick up. I ordered the BLT with Avocado w/ Gluten free bread. I appreciated the staff enlightening me on how to make my meal truly gluten friendly. (The potatoes are not cooked in a dedicated fryer.) Grits were recommended instead. Everything was pretty good and if you eat GF you know the problem with GF bread options. This place is no exception. The bread option is marked up and it’s extremely small so the portion size for your meal is not a value for the price.

There is no excuse for serving spoiled cold brew. I didn’t know what moldy/bad cold brew tasted like, but now I do. That is so gross. To top it off, when I told them that their cold brew tastes off, like there was olive juice in it, they said “oh no one likes our cold brew” and “we can’t just tell people that”. I’ve had it before, at this same restaurant, and it was fine. Check your containers for spoilage, and if someone says that your plain cold brew coffee tastes off, throw the batch away. I got regular coffee as a trade-off.
Also, the Shrimp Benedict was the poorest choice I’ve ever made. It is swimming in gravy. It might as well be soup. It should say on the menu “Swimming Shrimp Benny.”

First visit first impression. Service and atmosphere money well spent. Food ordered was, say, a 92/100. Corporate folks, well done enticing me to return without another dime spent on advertising. Ask yourselves if you can sustain this success and then strive to that end. Questions from me: Did you really poach those eggs to order? Is it necessary to sweeten your green chili cornbread until it resembles cake?
Don't worry, I will return for more!

Another Broken Egg Cafe of Madison AL

The wife and I went looking for breakfast this morning and decided to try something new. She found a neat little chain cafe called Another Broken Egg Cafe of Madison AL. A New Orleans themed Cafe.
Server Lauren was great very helpful, warm and friendly on the spot as far as service goes.
If it's your first time in the restaurant be sure to tell them as bring you a free order of Biscuit Beignets, which were very good and came with a honey orange marmalade. The Beignets were very good with the Coffee ☕ while we waited on our entrees to be prepared.

We opted to split and share the Lobster🦞 and city Grits. As well as the Napoleon Temptation.

Lobster 🦞and City Grits came as Lobster 🦞and Andouille Sausage sautéed with red peppers🫑 and onions 🧅 in a spicy low country reduction. Served over city grits, topped with chopped bacon 🥓, tomatoes and green onions. Served with garlic bread 🥖 and lemon 🍋. This dish was excellent take on grits very and was so tasty. The grits were so rich, creamy, and delicious thanks to the reduction. I'd recommend doing what I did order two eggs over easy to go with it and cut them over the top to let the egg 🍳 yolks run into it and mix it all together. I asked and you can swap the lobster 🦞for shrimp 🦐 or even add shrimp 🦐 to the dish in addition to the lobster🦞.

The Napoleon Temptation is a stack of the following: one each: Buttermilk Pancake 🥞, French Toast, Belgium Waffle 🧇, and a cinnamon roll. Topped with fresh berries, butter rum sauce, and powdered sugar. It is served with two eggs 🥚 any style and baked bacon 🥓 or house made sausage patties. This is alot of food. So so sweet and delicious the butter rum sauce is to die for it really brings it all together. It really needed the eggs and meat to add the savory-ness to keep it from being sweetness overload.

Definitely will have to back to this Cafe again and explore more of the menu. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted great. Portions were very generous. Must try breakfast location

If I could give this establishment a zero rating I would. Every time I come here the food is terrible and the service is subpar. The waiter started out nice, but got aggravated because I was aggravated about the bad food I was given. I was given another plate, but the food was barely warm.

Need to be better at telling you how long the wait is. We where told 20 min it took 50 min from wait to order time then another 15-20 to get food. Food is always good here. But need to improve on communication with other employees and customers. Never A sorry or for long wait. Managers need to know what's going on to improve this problem. Will I return for sure. The food is too good not to return.
