Cowboy Cafe

I stopped here for lunch while traveling through Wyoming. I was expecting a bit more based on other reviews...food was ok, but nothing amazing, especially for the price point. Service was fast.

Great food, great waitress, great service.
The tables close to the door get cold in winter days with traffic coming in and out the front door.

A fantastic hole in the wall local place! The green chili sauce is amazing. The service is great for just 2 ladies flying around to cover it. Super happy with the whole experience.

Staple of Sheridan. Quality food and good prices. People complains about a greasy spoon shouldn’t go to one. Reuben, dip, all American burger, brunch all good. Bloody Mary mix could use a revamp imho. 4/5 because it’s not a 5 star joint casual as it gets.

Awesome home grown cafe. Food selection was great and tasted amazing. Staff works hard and moves tables fast. Customer service was excellent-can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Sheridan.

Always good food. I go once a week usually. Very personable staff. Sometimes a wait on the weekend, but worth it.

This place exceeded expectations. The pie was incredible and I'm not a pie eater. The server Carrissa is the coolest most personable woman and went above and beyond to keep us happy and full. The cook obviously did a great job as well. Thanks again and we will be back for sure! Highly recommended.

We ate dinner here on 10/5/21. The one server was stretched to her limit, yet still provided good service. She's all business, but that was fine and I commend her for how hard she was working. I had the chicken fried steak which looked like a Schwann's product. When she put it down in front of me, I was disappointed and presumed it would be terrible... but it wasn't. Yes, it was a previous frozen product, but it was crunchy, and the gravy and smashed red potatoes were very good. I can't believe it myself, but I'm giving a positive review of it. I'll add that the pie we got for dessert was homemade, and quite good. Thumbs up on this one.

Excellent breakfast! There was a large group of us in for breakfast and everyone ordered something different and everyone walked away talking about how happy they were. Best Corned Beef Hash I have had in a restaurant in years! The Buffalo sausage was great, the biscuits and gravy tasty.
Service was great. We shall return again whenever we are in Sheridan.
