THIS is the type of business that built America.

VERY reasonable prices (I chose the Biscuit and Gravy Breakfast -- it was ONLY $7 for all of that food!)

Service is great. Atmosphere is nice. Seats are comfortable around the room. Plenty of seating. Temperature inside is appropriate. Table height is PERFECT for the seating they have -- not too high or too low.

They're open 0600-2100 (6am-9pm) every day, I believe.

If you're interested in old-school American cafes and restaurants, you need to visit this place and give them your business. They deserve it SO much more than most these days!

Keep this alive.

The entrance was a little hard to find. The outside of the restaurant looks a bit scary but the inside looks like a classic dinner. The food was delightfully good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with extra crispy hashbrowns and a scone substitute. The steak breading and the country gravy was good and nicely seasoned. The scone was big and cooked nicely. My wife got the omelet. She loved how much it was stuffed with meat and veggies.

Excellent quick stop right off the highway! An oasis of excellent food! We grabbed 3 breakfast burritos and I ordered mine without eggs. They were so accommodating and put extra cheese and sausage in. So yum!! The peppers and onions with the crisp tortilla. Delish.
Seriously, it is a must stop if you are driving by and are even remotely or will be hungry!

Pros: western kitsch, delicious food, local spot, truck parking, in the middle of nowhere
Cons: not close enough for me to make it a regular spot!

The food was amazing and the customer service was great! Actually got to meet the chef. And kudos to the waitress that waited on me I forgot her name.

At first... I didn't really trust this place because the way it looks but you can't always judge a book by its cover.

But I have to say I had bad customers service experiences at Little America when it came to my food not being done right.

This may not look like a five star restaurant but I will mostly definitely come back here and spend my money on my bison burger instead of dropping $40 to $50 at Little America, so they can actually make money and not have great customer service!

A completely unassuming eaterie with a delightful surprise. The reviews on Google does not disappoint.

Once inside you can notice a rich rustic cowboy decor. The art done with horseshoes that adone several tables and area of the restaurant is truly spectacular.

The food is great! The steak and the pork chops were very falvorful and reminds me of the taste of those expensive steakhouse back home. I really like the many healthy options available for the sides such baked potatoes, salads, steamed veggies, and sliced tomatoes. Prices are very reasonable.

There was plenty of spacious seating inside and the restroom facilities were very clean. Kristen, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. This diner is a must stop along the 80 HWY.

Simple little café next to the gas and go truckstop without much else around serving basic American favorites like country breakfasts, burgers and fish & chips.

We came in on Wednesday at about 11:30 in the morning and there was no one there, but by the time we left the place was packed.

The only waitress on hand provided friendly and prompt service.

Recommended for anyone passing through.

I've stopped at the Gas'n'Go for years, but never had the opportunity to try the Cafe. It was late, and I was about ready to stop for the day, so I went on in. I didn't realize they were open because the sign is apparently not so reliable, but they were definitely open.
There were a lot of intriguing choices on the menu, but I opted for the Buffalo Patty. It was good. Not sure exactly what the tomatoes were about, but I ate them with a little salt. The meat was good, both flavorful and moist. I also ordered the beer fries, since they were out of mashed potatoes. Next I get past there, I'll be sure to eat there again.

The Cowboy Cafe is in the same parking area as the "Gas-n'Go" truck stop". Not much else around so no chance of getting lost. We didn't have huge expectations and boy that goes back to the old saying "Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover." They have a good menu with all the favorites. You can order breakfast at dinner, they don't care. The food came out quick and hot. There were no doggie bags that night.
Homey atmosphere. Fun seating and tables available. Just down the street from the KOA camp.

Hit or miss my wife's burger was good not great. The veggies with it were great. My sisters grilled cheese was terrible. The cheese was just awful. the sweet potato fries she had not good. I had roast beef it was lunch meat roast beef but not a good cut. The mash potatoes were instant you could tell. The price is medium the quality is low. Waitress was nice water tasted normal
Bathroom gross. Also my sister said the cheese sticks were too expensive. It's like somebody tried real hard with this place and just gave up

Nice and homey. Fast service and good prices. They actually had southern style sweet tea! Usually I can't find real sweet tea north of I-40. The homemade peach pie was delicious. There's plenty of room in the parking lot for trucks or RVs too.
