Cowboy Cafe

Looks can be deceiving. The property could use a little TLC. Ok that's the negative. Place servers up great food. Breakfast burrito is fantastic. Just stopped by to get a couple egg sandwiches to go and they were awesome. Coffee is always fresh and hot. Great food and great local conversations. Its a must stop for anyone traveling thru the area.

I wrote about the breakfast now I can write about the dinner. Holy mother of Moses fantastic dinner. The Cowboy Chili was heaven. Sweet on the front spicy goin down. 👌 The chicken fried steak again 👌. Looks can be deceiving people. The Country Cafe is ligit and a must try.

Pulled in here at night when the roads were bad, along with many other truckers. The poor waitress (there was only the one) was overwhelmed! While it took a bit longer than I'd have liked to take my order, the wait was well worth it. Amazingly tasty and hot food. I'll be stopping in again for sure.

This restaurant looks like nothing from the freeway and is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall place. We only went because friends recommended it, and rightly so.

We had breakfast and it was so very good. I had biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the biscuits were very light and fluffy, and a sausage gravy was spot-on. It was such classic southern food, yet in Wyoming. I guess it's classic country food. My husband orders very soft scrambled eggs every where he gets breakfast and no one seems to ever get those eggs right. Well, the cook at Cowboy Cafe got them perfect.

The food wasn't just good, the staff was quite friendly as well. And a top it off, we made small talk with an old trucker I stopped in for breakfast as well. We ended up sitting with him while we all ate and chatted for over an hour. That experience made our day.

Been here a few times and never been disappointed. The food is delicious and plenty of it. Today we got a scone before our lunch and WOW!! It was HUGE and Sooo yummy. Don't let the outside of the building scare you away. Plenty of really good food inside!!

Old place but clean nice people

Sort of disappointed this visit..ordered a Denver omelet and I got a veggie one..asked for no butter on toast, guess what?, luckily I'm not allergic to butter but I hate soggy toast. At this point I just said screw it and only ate half of what she brought because I did not want to wait. Plus omelet and home fries were too greasy. Tell your cook to ease off on the oil. Funny thing I was originally gonna order sausage n eggs..I'll go with my gut next time. Coffee was good...never had to ask for a refill.

Great little restaurant here! We stopped in the day b4 Thanksgiving n they were only serving Thanksgiving dinner for truckers So we got a free Thanksgiving dinner. N The meal was excellent! It was sooo yummy! Turkey was really moist n the rest of the food was delicious too! Great friendly service there too! The best free meal We’ve ever had! Thanks! Definitely stop there again! Gotta try other meals. Lol

Stopped here to eat local while on a road trip. We had the biscuits and gravy breakfast (included eggs and potatoes), and the French toast. Food was excellent and serving size was more than we could eat. Fast friendly service.

Love this place!! Awesome homemade breakfast!! Hope to be back when passing by again!! Great service, GOOD coffee!! A have to try!!
