Cowboy Cafe

The service was absolute trash. Server looked and acted annoyed that she even had to do her job. The food was also trash. I ordered a steak sandwich that was obviously frozen before cooked and it looked grey and tasted gross. My wife orders their 'special' burger and it was overcooked, dry and unappetizing. We saw great reviews but we're shocked when the food was terrible.

"A dive", "A hole in the wall", "A diamond in the rough"... However you wish to describe it Cowboy Cafe is certainly worth a stop. They serve up what any respectable cowboy needs, friendly service and grub smacking good food. The chef does a bang up job creating specials that look and taste great. As a trucker I enjoy stopping anytime I'm rolling through the area. A place that both locals and travelers can enjoy.

Great as always. Tried the green chili chili today and it is amazing. Even tho I don’t like onions I ate it all. One of my favorite truck stop cafes in the entire country. Pies are home made and great. Always get the Buffalo burger or the country fried steak depending on mood. Waitress’s are always very nice to me and not rude even when I’ve came through and picked up a order right before they close. This place will always get my business. My favorite place to stay in the winter when 80 gets shut down.

Food is great and prices are good as well...had the steak and eggs. Great stop if your hungry as long as you dont mind waiting...service is pretty slow. Friendly staff but only 2 waitresses for a busy place.

Enjoyed my diner style breakfast, and loved the counter bar with seats that wobble for us with weary driver butts 👍🏻 and someone bought my breakfast! I paid it forward, but overall great stop.

Really good food, Great service, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Amazing coffee. Comfortable atmosphere. Don't let the exterior stop you.
