Mona's Cafe

I always go specifically for the breakfast burrito with hash browns, it's always good and never disappoints. Always good food and good service, atmosphere is calm and I always feel welcomed. Prices are not bad either.

I had a day off from workover rig and was looking for a GOOD local breakfast Cafe. Here in Gillette just a few weeks now, I'm still green, Mona 's was right down the street, and Elizabeth Paff's review sold it for me. Here at 615am on a Thursday, local blue collar guys cutting it up with each other, I liked the atmosphere, the new owner(s) is still using Ramona 's recipe. The worst thing about my experience was the coffee, and it was still pretty freaking okay to me. Taking Paff's suggestion , I tried the breakfast burrito. THANKS to all mentioned, next time I'm gonna try the Corn beef hash.. .but the burrito was BOMB! Thanks Krissy!😋Best Waitress EVER!!

Decent little diner food wise but a bit run down. Mostly locals in the place. Prices were low and my food was good.

Customerservice was far from decent. I couldn't help but notice Mona staring at me as I refused to blacken my lungs from the obismal char of the cigarette reminense from within the vacinity of the property. Not safe for kids, slow to order and slow to get food. Spent almost 2 hours just trying to get our food.

Great family breakfast diner cinnamon roll is perfection to say the least food is great and service is very pleasant. Only things that could use some work is the coffee. A little bit to watered down.

We were seated quickly. The gentleman helping us was responsive and paid attention to detail. One of us wanted no ice, another had light ice, and the last extra ice for our waters. Each of us was quite pleased. One of us had huevos rancheros while two of us split the Mona omelette without tomatoes and had a side of cinnamon toast. If I am out in that area I will consider returning again as opposed to exploring other options.

Small local owned restaurant with a fairly large variety of Mexican and American dishes. Definitely recommend

Only place that no matter what you order, the food is great.

Bad food, bad service and confusing. It's mostly Mexican food but not your traditional Mexican. I couldn't get a regular chicken burrito, I asked for one but the cook said no substitutions but the owner came in and said yes, I could substitute. Too late then, I had French toast. Mom's French dip was very dry.
