We stopped here on the way to South Dakota from Yellowstone for a short break during an afternoon and the quality of food for the value of money was awesome. We tried coffee latte, garden 🪴 🍔burger, chicken panini sandwich, half salad and all were of Top quality. We loved the french fries 🍟 , that was also very good 👍 not the taste that you get in chain restaurants. Thanks for making our travel cool and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Yes we acknowledge that wait time was little more than expected. But that is natural if your order is being fulfilled while they are understaffed.

Great little treasure. Breakfast was a healthy serving size and price right. Compared to the fancy 8th street the food is delicious and cheap. I was very surprised by how quickly the server had my meal before us. She made delicious hot cocoa. Then place is small and quaint. This was December so not super busy. The dinner was done up in Christmas decor. Definitely worth a revisit. As for any bad reviews, you should stick to your over priced restaurants that suit your demeanor.

Had the corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s day there with my folks. Everything was great! Very quick service and friendly. Susan the owner is a very kind woman.
The breakfast is great too. 3 eggs bacon, sausage, and Home fries for only 10$. Awesome place!

We have been to Cody numerous times, each time trying the local restaurants and this time we decided to try Peter's for breakfast. First time EVER we have been so disappointed with the service. The woman at the counter couldn't be bothered to smile, acted as though she hated being there and never bothered to say good morning or anything. The cook (possibly owner?) came out and asked how our food was, which was really the best part of trying this restaurant out. Apparently you take your own plates to scrape them and put in a dirty dish bin, which I guess is fine but when I asked if that's what we needed to do, again it was like I was bothering the staff by asking questions. Not good when the customer is trying hard to be friendly to the staff and getting little in return.

Had a breakfast without any flavour, tasteless french toast in a dirty restaurant with a staff that didn't show any interest in whatever they were doing. Unhygienic service; I saw them bring a plate to my neighbour with the ticket on top; when she removed the paper the cheese stuck on to it. No problem, we just remove it with our bare, dirty hands and throw it back on the food. This restaurant should be closed.

Came in today 3-21-23 and the cashier was very rude. The pastries did not look fresh, can get fresher looking at albertsons. If you are the owner, email me we can talk.

This is Cody's little hidden gem. Fresh, homemade buns for the burgers which are tasty. The homemade broccoli cheddar cheese soup is worth a visit just for it. Super friendly staff. There were a couple of unusual characteristics of Peter's Cafe that I found interesting. First, customers dish their own soup. That was different. And, I don't know if it is expected, but customers bus their own table. My wife and I observed other patrons cleaning up after themselves and putting their dirty dishes in a kitchen tote at the back of the restaurant. We followed their example and bussed our table. Again, I don't know if this is expected or just something that the patrons choose to do. Overall I would rate Peter's Cafe a 4.5.

Sandwich came out in 5 minutes, but they forgot my fries, which took an additional 5. That was fine, but the food itself wasn't that good. It was a solid "fine".
Staff was nice, and trying hard to be helpful. I may go back to try something else, see if maybe the panini was just a fluke.

Great little place for brunch in Cody. Great home made food and good service. When you place your order at the counter you are given an object to mark your table. Ours was a green pull toy.

Good eats. Slow service, but pleasant staff. Pricing was good. Good old sandwich and ice cream stop.
