First time eating here, was very disappointed. My bacon and eggs were fine, but the bread, pancakes, and hash browns were really gross. They were all soggy and tasted like they had bad milk involved. The bread was also squished, not sure if that was supposed to be on purpose or not...
We had to ask for our coffee after waiting over a half hour. Not sure why but the cook was the only employee who looked over 18, which we found strange that only kids were working.

The food here is quite good...if you ever get it. We visited during the peak of tourist season and they didn't have their act together. The excuse was that they were shirt handed. Honestly, I don't care. I just want my food.
The cook was bringing food out, he was messing up orders and forgetting whose food was whose. I ate all of my fries before he managed to get my gluten free food correct. We were here over an hour for a "quick lunch".
You can't tell me that in this town there isn't someone willing to wait tables. I can't say I'd be back.

My friend and I came to Peter's Cafe for breakfast in September 2020... wearing our masks. He had been there once before, a few years ago, and thought it would be a good place to go.
He ordered Eggs Benedict (because he loves them)...but I'd never eaten them before and decided to give it a try.
There were several tables already occupied with couples and groups. As we looked for somewhere to sit a woman, not wearing a mask and carrying dirty dishes, told us to just go order at the counter.
It was difficult to read the menu items listed on the chart hanging near the ceiling; it wasn't very close to where we had to stand and order. I noticed some menus in a rack next to us, they too were difficult to read. The counter person, also not wearing a mask, took our order but seemed very impatient.
We then found a place to sit. No one offered us anything to drink... not even water. The catsup bottle that was sitting with the other condiments looked like it hadn't been clean since it was new, (which was definitely not recently).
Just over 45 minutes later our food finally arrived...with no apologies or explanation for the delay.
The food was cold, the English muffins were burnt on the bottom, and the Hollandaise sauce tasted terrible.
No one ever came by to ask how we were doing or if everything was ok,
and as if things weren't already bad enough, as soon as the food was brought to us, we became inundated with flies. Lots of them.
The flies, I might add, were very friendly, much more so than the employees, and didn't seem to have any problem with the quality of the food, so my friend and I walked out and left it there for them.
P.S. I didn't want to give this place ANY stars but couldn't post unless I gave at least one.

This place is great. They have the best coffee around, great food, and I'm saving the best for last. Their baked goods are to die for. If your in cody you must stop here!!!!!

Best breakfast in Cody and best prices as well! But don't be in a rush because it is a popular place. If you are in a hurry, call ahead for pick up. Super biscuits and gravy. ☺️

It had been a long time since I had been here, but I was pleasantly surprised at how many food/drink options they had. Our food was great and the staff was awesome

Great breakfast with quick service. There is a lady in the back that is a little grumpy. We enjoyed the food nice hardy. The service was very nice. The general aesthetic is interesting small town with a little country mixed with clutter.

Fantastic. Great prices. Came here hoping to get breakfast for lunch for my 2 year old who kept asking for "Bacon and French toast please". They ended up making a custom order of a single piece of each for her! Not crowded and down to earth feel.

Avoid this dump like the plague. We have been waiting for 55 minutes for our food (two toasted bagels). Asked and they said it would be out soon. They have a microwave and no kitchen. One person "cooking". We are walking out without out food and going to Wendy's because we are going to die from hunger. Never seen anything like it.

Visited for breakfast on our way out of Cody. They were busy working on a large catering order but that didnt stop them from feeding us and about 20 more people. We also ordered a sandwich to take. When we stopped in the mountains to eat lunch we found they had packed us chips and the best brownies too! Amazing little restaurant with great food and even better people! Wish we didnt live 1500 miles away.
