Peter's Cafe & Bakery

We went there on a Sunday morning, the cafe was staffed by a few young boys. They struggled with the growing queue and had nobody experienced to support them. We waited in the line for 15 minutes only to learn that their credit card reader is broken, so we couldn't order anything as we only had a card on us. Is it that hard to put on a piece of paper on the door that says 'Cash/checque only, card reader out of order'? I think not.

The only upside was the very nice man greeting everyone and playing the guitar.

Order the small Cody Special. $6.50 w/chips. It's delicious and huge! All there sandwiches are great especially like their burgers and breakfasts.

Excellent fare, quality service, Stevie was most preshionable, such a delight, I had the popular breakfast while my wife enjoyed the eggs Benedict with what she says was the best Hollandaise sauce she's had. Definitely worth the stop!

Waited 25 minutes for eggs and toast. Asked staff why so long, said they would check. At 30 minutes asked for refund which they were happy to do but didn't seem to know how. Don't go if you are hungry or have anything to do today.

We had an early lunch. Decent food, about what I would expect for the price. Very affordable for a tourist town. Staff was very very friendly and seemed like it's a local's type of place. Not polished but we loved it. Cinnamon roll was excellent.

Good hot food. Had to clear our own table. Chairs were very ripped. Need to replace chairs.

Quant kitchy place if you don't mind flies buzzing around you while your eating. Food is inexpensive and okay. Service is fast. Feels like a local diner.

Though they all seem like nice people, the staff seems incompetent. My family waited for over an hour for our meal, only to be told they lost our ticket. The times in between that hour when we asked the status of our meal, their staff would say they'll check on it for us and then never come back to tell us anything. When we had to tell them we need to leave soon, one lady just said, "oh, we'll get you a refund." They didn't own up to their mistake, instead they just said, "well we were busy." It wasn't busy. Once we got our refund we left and ate at Our Place - now that's a restaurant!

Home fries are the bomb! Service is extremely slow, waited over 30 min for food. Coffee is mediocre, but the prices are good. Worst thing thou, the place is really dirty.

This has been the best breakfast we have had on our road trip. Great staff, great food, great prices. They had no problem letting me sit and work of their WiFi and they were incredibly friendly. Great experience all around. I definitely recommend to anyone passing through Cody
