Excellent service, atmosphere was super relaxed and friendly, food was surprisingly good.

We got the regular breakfast sandwich and 3 eggs a la carte with bacon and pesto. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. You can tell these people love what they do and take pride in their work. Highly recommend.

Friendly service, fair prices, and super delicious cappuccino with perfect balance of espresso, milk, and foam! Espresso was ssmooth and silky! Inviting atmosphere and plenty of street parking (in afternoon). Will absolutely return when in area and recommend.

I was visiting friends in the area and stopped by Johnson’s for a quick bite… the Regular breakfast sandwich, alone, could make me move to Madison. It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had!

Best lattes in town! Had an almond milk latte with pacific milk and it was superb. Very friendly staff, open relaxed space. Highly recommend it.

I love JPH. In my top 2 favorite cafes in Madison. I've never had a bad espresso drink or meal there and I've been coming here since they opened. They have strangely perfect pancakes??! Order the pancakes with strawberries and syrup. They're just perfect. Can't wait for the diner to open! <3

The coffee was good but I have tried a better cortado.

Delicious cortado. Spro on the Bright citrus side, tasty. Unassuming chill vibe. Mix of people working on their laptops or in small groups chatting and catching up. Seating outside available.

Let's start by saying that their Chai was better looking than it tasted.

On the plus side I loved their breakfast bowl with ham :-)
