Colectivo Coffee- On the Square

Our favorite coffee shop when we visit Madison WI. Their hot chocolate is fantastic and lots of good coffee choices and pastry. Plenty of seating with wifi.

Great, casual coffee shop on the Capital Square. Folks are all friendly and do a good job servicing a steady stream of business. The breakfast chorizo burrito is excellent and they have a host of baked goods if that is your thing.

The coffee is excellent, but the counter service feels very corporate. There is a good variety of seating available, including exquisite indoor and outdoor patio areas. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, you'll find it here.

Collectivo has such a wonderful variety of items other than just coffee, and play into the Holiday. I was down there for Father's Day, and got a Papa Bear cookie! Very Cool!

Pastries galore, if you want, and just about any type of coffee you are interested in.

Always a great stop while walking around the Square for Farmer's Market!

Excellent espresso drinks, good sandwiches. Their espresso counter can sometimes take slightly longer than some of the other shops nearby, but it's totally worth the wait. Their steamed milk is always perfect, for one.
Lunch service is consistently on point.

I felt it was a great space for a casual hangout, and their latte mexicana was the most unique coffee I ever had. They had some kinda chili in it, and it tasted so unique. We also tried the macaroons and biscotti, which were ok-ish. They do have free Wi-Fi .

I go here all the time. Decent tea options. Can get a little loud when busy, and this place is very crowded on Saturdays during the farmer's market across the street. I often work from here. Very limited options for gluten free diet - they have delicious GF cookies, and I believe the granola s the only other GF item. Plenty of seating, and large windows allow good natural lighting.

I ordered a simple vanilla flavored iced coffee. Both cashiers were cold and not welcoming. My coffee was incredibly bitter and not mixed. They never asked if I'd like any cream or sugar. Overall, the customer service was severely lacking.

A coffee staple on the south corner of the square. Colectivo on the square is great little cafe to pick up a coffee on the go, or stay for a cozy chat or study session. They have great coffee and espresso choices, and sandwiches for a bite to eat. Very accessible when you're out downtown, so stop here if you're looking for a pick-me-up.

The quality of espresso bar is the same for all the Colectivo. Great place for working, reading and chatting. I like this shop for its big windows with a lot of sunlight. It’s a bit noisy for peak time.
