Colectivo Coffee- On the Square

I didn't like the coffee. Very sour. They don't have bold/dark coffee and pancakes. I was a little disappointed about that. Very kind staff, barista makes a show of his coffee serving which is funny. Fair prices. A lot of merchandise in the store, it's definitely hip and they play electronic music what I like.

Great for quick coffee and snacks, but does not have WiFi that is strong enough for consistent remote work.

Delicious coffee/espresso and baked goods highly recommend if you're visiting the capital it's well worth a walk across the street for sure!!

A pretty cool place. The space is large and welcoming, and the coffee was good. The staff wasn't amazingly friendly but no substantive complaints on that front. Nice to sit outside on the square and sip a latte!

Great food. Great coffee. Quick service. Friendly staff. Hard to find areas for improvement. Of all the coffee shops in Madison, Colectivo on the Square is definitely my favorite.

An amazing cafe with a unique atmosphere. The pastry cabinet is loaded with from scratch goodies. Never had a bad thing.

Good selections, some unique. Nice space, including large front patio. Also, an unusual "front sun-porch" space that can be open air, but separated from main business by glass doors. When windows are open, this porch area feels like an indoor extension of the patio. Direct view of Capitol Building, too.

Colectivo is a great staple. The tables are fun to sit at and read, especially since there are nice bars lining the windows. I liked it more before the pandemic. Without being able to sit and hang out, there is better coffee within a few blocks.

Great soup and sandwiches here for morning meal.
Also free wifi is available.

Provides more variety with a rotating blend coffees and teas beyond the standard menu options if you're looking to try something new. Excellent sandwiches and a nice outdoor seating area when the harsh mistress of WI weather allows.
