Sadly disappointed by the (usually excellent) service. With very few others in the cafe (not at all busy) I ordered breakfast (oatmeal and breakfast sandwich) last week, and received oatmeal promptly. Then, when finished with oatmeal, no breakfast sandwich!?! which I would’ve liked to have eaten along with my oatmeal. With receipt in hand, I had to return to cooking area and remind them of the sandwich I ordered 20 minutes before. The cashier, who was eager to take my order/money, checked the cash register to make sure I wasn’t trying to pull a “fast one”, and get a free sandwich, despite showing my receipt. I eventually received my sandwich with no apology for oversight and more than a small amount of adolescent “attitude”.
OWNERS: Please refresh staff on what excellent service is supposed to look like.
Also, prices have skyrocketed here….yet another COVID victim! Doubtful of my return/business to this once reasonable, excellent, healthy eatery.

My FAVORITE coffee place in NW Wisconsin. Always delicious and the entire staff is wonderful. My "go-to" for a meeting location or friend's lunch date. Fav drinks: Nordic latte or Sweet & Savory. Fav food: Veggie Bahn Mi. Thank you such for investing your time, energy, and money into our small community! Also LOVE the local art.

Truly lovely food, people, and atmosphere. We went for a hike at Interstate, came up here for lunch, and then walked on the Gandy Dancer. I had the turkey jam sandwich and wild rice soup which were both perfect. We split a pumpkin pecan bar which had wonderfully balanced flavors and not too sweet. Hope to come again soon.

Fantastic food and drinks! You can also purchase bike trail passes for the gandy dancer trail and enjoy lunch when you are finished.

Great quality cafe with locally sourced ingredients!! Clean, crisp interior. Delicious and simple food options. Great coffee!! Plenty of sitting space too indoors and outdoors as well!

If your up for it- the infamous Gandy Dancer trail is right out back for a nice stroll!

Stopped on the way from Spooner back home to Minneapolis. This was exactly the cute little cafe we were hoping to find. Coffee drinks are absolutely delicious (iced vanilla latte and an iced white chocolate rose mocha) as were the sandwiches- in large part because of the amazing bread. Was a beautiful day to sit outside on their adorable patio area.

Ate lunch here today and really enjoyed it. Had a turkey sandwich with chipotle mayo and my wife enjoyed her soup. The coffee was also fantastic, the maple latte. It is conveniently located alongside the Gandy bike trail.

Super cute gem in the area. Recently remodeled and very cozy! They feature local artists on display and for sale. Coffee is amazing and food is wholesome with options for many dietary needs. I love the pastries and I make a habit of going on my way through Luck everytime. They accept cards.

Best. Almond. Nut. Rolls. EVER. This is my favorite restaurant/cafe/bakery. Everything (food, drinks, service) is done right - with care and intention. Decor from local artists is the finishing touch. Love this place!

I can't say enough good things about this place! They have excellent soups and sandwiches (seriously, the house made soups are the best in the area), and great lattes. Also some of the best scones I've ever had. The almond joy scones are my favorite!
