KJ’s new north is one of the BEST parts of Balsam Lake. The most amazing sandwiches, and don’t even get me started on one of their signature drinks, the “Balsam Breeze”. The owners are super involved in the community and often offer events like bouncy houses, pictures with super hero’s, Halloween events and street food. They even do catering during off hours by request! They really and truly CARE about the people here.

Amazes me there is a negative review because this establishment was closed during business hours a handful of times. It’s disappointing. This sometimes happens in small communities when they are family owned! But there is a charm to businesses like this with incredible ice cream, amazing food, and friendly company! Please ignore the negative review about business hours. It rarely happens and in towns like ours we don’t have endless employees at our disposal like big cities. It’s worth the wait to come back and try again!

Best business in town. Delicious sandwiches and rotating flavors of ice cream; plus the staff are great! Would highly recommend, they have been a great addition to our community!

We picked up sandwiches to go, for the first time this season, last week. They were absolutely delicious. So happy to be able to have a yummy, easy meal when we don’t want to cook or “go out.” Thanks for all your hard work and your investment in our community.

Best ice cream selection, coffee, sandwiches/lunch. I love the fun outdoor toys that entertain the whole fam. Bean bags, building blocks- kids have a great time and mom can relax. Our go to spot in the summer.

This is by far the best ice cream and sandwich stop I’ve ever been to. The West Coast is by far my favorite!! The device is always amazing! Great family run business.

KJ’s is a little oasis of fun with great sandwiches, a diverse menu of drinks and amazing ice cream. The young staff over the holiday weekend was buried in customers and still treated each one of their guests with a patient and friendly attitude.

BEST. IN. TOWN. Hands down! The freshest food, many delicious ice cream options, and prices that can’t compare! Love this little family owned gem!
