Support this local jewel. They do so much for Gandy Dancer Trail, local artists and nonprofits. Plus the bakery and menu items are fresh, delicious, and often make with locally sourced ingredients. They are always worth the stop.

We love Cafe Wren! The atmosphere is pleasant, the coffee is good, and the food is delicious. Our favorite is the lingonberry Brie sandwich- I think it’s seasonal, but if it’s on the menu, it has my recommendation!

Fresh, flavorful soups, sandwiches, and salads. I had the chicken bahn mi. Great flavors. Baked good look amazing too. I had the brownie. Everything was great. Friendly service, free WiFi. Try it out!

Great good and vibe. I give it three stars because tipping is a private thing and I find it inappropriate that the cashier asks you if you want to leave something as a tip. Don’t do that. It’s rude to your customers.

This little cafe is a great stop along highway 35. They have the best wake-me-up espresso in the area, in my opinion. They have high quality sandwiches that are delicious. There was a sign on the table that said they get their produce (some of it) from a local CSA (a.k.a. a local farm). You'll feel good: eating good food, supporting good people and enjoying some peace and quiet.

Cafe Wren is a coffee shop with a healthy lunch menu. The soup is wonderful, two (2) different ones daily, each so good they run out! The sandwich menu is stable with salads and lovely sweet treats. Bring $$$. (The cafe supports local art.)

Cute place with outdoor seating. Was expecting more of a home made breakfast place rather than scones, pastries, but it was a busy place and staff was great.

What can I say about Cafe Wren that won’t make me sound like an obsessed super-fan.... hmmm.... probably nothing, so oh well! Cafe Wren feels like home. I didn’t grow up around here, but my family bought a house in the area about 20 years ago. As soon as Cafe Wren opened, it was clear that this little corner of Wisconsin suddenly had something VERY special. We used to visit the area for a couple of weeks a year as a family, and then in more recent years, my parents have moved there permanently. This is why Cafe Wren feels like home to me. I can’t visit Mom and Dad without stopping at least once, and I usually can’t drive all the way home to Michigan without stopping for breakfast on my way out of town. The food is amazing, the art is beautiful, the staff is wonderful. In 15+ years, I’ve never had a drink or meal or treat that I didn’t like, and I find new favorites every time I visit. The soups are to die for, and the lingonberry melt is a literal slice of heaven. I guess that would be my one request for improvement... please consider bringing back the lingonberry melt all year round. But, even if they don’t, this place will always be special to me and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Me and a friend have lunch there at least twice a month. The environment is super friendly and the food is absolutely delicious and always fresh! The coffee and baked goods are spot on as well! I highly recommend Cafe Wren!

Housemade food with amazing flavors. Choices you won't find anywhere else in this area. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Surprisinly reasonable prices given the quality of the food and drink options. A dining option with a conscious. Great community supporter.
