Hungry Bear - Cafe & Catering

We stopped for there Friday fish fry and I was impressed by the number of cars parked in the area right off the bat, and I soon realized why as there proportions were very large with a extra tasty crispy deep fried batter. I was quite impressed as I think the fish may almost tasted better then the scallops I ordered with it which were very juicy and delicious as well, I would definitely suggest stopping by them on Fridays if you're in the area and I hope to stop in again sometime to try out some of there other dishes!!

Excellent food! Service was fast and very friendly. The stuffed potato pancake was amazing. Definitely coming back.

I love this wonderful little neighborhood cafe, with a cozy relaxing vibe, that has delicious food! My favorite sandwich is the Ruben. It’s messy and delicious, as it should be.
The homemade strawberry jam, is my husband’s favorite thing to have on raisin toast.

I have always had a decent experience at the Hungry Bear. They have decent sized portions, for a fair price, and food is tasty.
I have both dined there and carried out in the past. The staff was always friendly and their service time was quiet stellar.

This was a fantastic place to stop for dinner on the road further north. The ambiance is fantastic and really reflects the bear theme... there are bears EVERYWHERE (And not one Chicago Bear reference!)

The food was great and we were really happy with the service. One person in our party had the veggie burger and the conclusion was that it was very good. Everything else we ordered was great as well.

This will be our new stop coming through Bonduel from now on.

I love this little restaurant. I started with sweet potato fries and they were excellent. I had pan fried walleye and it was so yummy. My sister had a salad that it looked amazing. Our waitress was great. And her smile lit up the room. The decor is so much fun.

Biscuits and gravy was good but not great. We loved the atmosphere and will definitely be back to try other things.
