We went 2-3x a day over a long weekend in Ashland because it. was. that. good. Check out the Mayan Mocha as well as their food offerings-- we did take-out breakfast and/or lunch several times. Vegetarian and vegar friendly offerings, as well! Eclectic style and a cool vibe coupled with great staff make it easy to recommend.

Was in town for work, stopped at Black Cat Coffee for breakfast. The coffee was OK, it was a different style than I am used to, very acidic and strong, not bad though. The breakfast burrito was actually very good. I would go again

My go to stop while heading to Dulith. Has the old fashioned coffee house feel: older shop converted to coffee house, brick walls, local art on walls, local high quality coffee roast. Just a homey feel which is rare now a days. Great coffee drinks, smoothies and food.

Highest quality food, bakery nas coffee

I went here 2x on my visit and got the same drink each time but was charged two wildly different prices ($3.76 & $6.79). The iced coffee with half and half was very strong slightly bitter, but after it watered down with the ice it was a lot more enjoyable and evened out.

My favorite little Coffee shop. Great relaxing atmosphere, which I am not used to with coffee shops. Lots of vegan options on their menu. Definitely worth the stop if you are in town.

Stopped by on our way through town. Would definitely be regulars if we lived nearby! Great coffee and service. The nachos were tasty and wonderfully spicy!

Every time we go to our cabin, we go here. Great coffee house. Although, I did not enjoy the "socialist" political handouts. Just be a coffee shop...No need for that political agenda crap. Would've given a better rating if not for that.

A must see if your stopping in Ashland!! In addition to supporting local artists, they're specialty drinks and delicious food also use mostly local and organic components!!
