Black Cat Coffeehouse

Not really one to give bad reviews but just a terrible experience. Good food and coffee but rude, pretentious workers even when it's not that busy. Waiting over 45 min for toast and a reheated quiche. Save your time and go elsewhere.

I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and it was so disgusting I threw it away! The place had an amazing aesthetic and it had good reviews so it was so disappointing. I don’t know how such a simple drink could be so terrible. The milk tasted rancid. I would have went back in but we were traveling on our way back home to Michigan.

Very cool local coffee shop. Super friendly. Lots of seating.

Stopped here for breakfast on my way through town and it was PHENOMENAL. Everything is locally sourced and so fresh, their pastries are from the bakery across the street and produce is from local farms. Their coffee was delicious, and baristas were so sweet. The overall vibe in the cafe was awesome, very laid back and homey. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re going through Ashland! I almost want to move here just for Black Cat :)

This is a good coffee shop in a great setting. The internet is slow so if you are interested in working from here, it is not the greatest. Also the music feed is very noisy and "rock=ish" so not conducive to a relaxing morning coffee and intimate conversation. Plus there is no decaf. Other than that, the staff is amazing and the food is good.

Great atmosphere and the coffee was superb!

Nice atmosphere, feels pretty cozy in there. I liked the art they had on display as well. Coffee was just okay, however. I had an americano and the lady had just black coffee. I liked mine more than she liked hers.

Super cute and cozy, loved the Mayan chocolate mocha with cayenne pepper and cinnamon.

What an incredible shop with amazing coffee and a breakfast burrito to die for! Will be back!

Community oriented, great food and drinks. I felt welcome and well-fed. It was busy when we arrived but the line moved swiftly.
