I will absolutely be back! I didn't get any coffee as my hands were a bit full with my two little kids I brought with, but let's be real - I was there to check out the pastries anyways. And they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The crust is buttery and delicious (literally just finished eating the apple tart). If my hubby doesn't get up soon his cherry tart might not still be there for him when he does. Everything looked so delicious, I wanted to buy one of everything - but we'll pace ourselves. Oh, and the atmosphere is great, but you likely figured that out from the other reviews. Definitely worth the early morning trip.

Always great coffee, awesome homemade pastries!

Expensive, and not always what the menu says it is. On a small stand by the pastries, they are selling tins of loose leaf Harney & Sons tea. On their menu board, they boast "loose leaf teas-$3.50" under hot drinks. I was excited to order one, seeing that they were selling Harney teas which are my favorite. I was anticipating my hot tea would be served in a single serve teapot (like they do at The Goat Coffeehouse in EC, who also sell and use Harney teas) and that they would have some nice flavors to choose from. The options offered were english breakfast, earl grey, peppermint and chamomile, pretty basic. I ordered the earl grey. I got a simple coffee mug with a Bigelow tea bag of earl grey. To me, selling higher end teas on a shelf in your establishment, and then charging $3.50 for a literal mug of hot water with a Bigelow teabag as a hot tea was just icky business practice. Don't advertise a brand of tea that you're selling by the tin, and then sell the cheapest tea to people who are going to sit and drink it with their breakfast.

Annnnnd......is a teabag a "loose leaf tea"? No, no it is not. It is a teabag! Don't advertise on your chalkboard that you are selling loose leaf tea to drink when you are in fact selling Bigelow tea bags! Either specify "tea bag" or just leave it at "tea", but it is false advertising to call it loose leaf tea. Tea in a tea bag is not loose leaf tea.

Love Nostalgic Bean! Their pastries are delicious, creative, and unique. I especially love that they did the “back to school” zebra cakes and that they are active in giving back to the community. Everyone I’ve come in contact with who works here is genuinely nice and helpful. Even when the line is long, they keep it moving and most times I can walk in and get in and out quicker than any of the chain coffee shops. I always look forward to seeing what’s new on the menu. When the new owners took over, they started to do breakfast sandwiches, but I haven’t seen those in a while. I do wish they’d return to those and that they’d have quiche with crust as an option too. They’re so great though, I’m sure if I mentioned it to them in person that they’d do it! Thanks Nostalgic Bean, I’ll definitely be seeing you soon!

The staffing are good but I would say the pantries are really dissatisfied. As the Croissant doesn’t taste crispy and it has really soft? bread in it.

Oh my goodness! My 1st time going today and it was everything I expected and more! I literally wanted to try everything they had, but I limited myself to the quiche, a ham & Swiss croissant thingie and a Mocha! It was delicious! My daughter had the reeses peanut butter cookie and the was also fresh and delicious! Customer service was stellar! What an awesome little gem! Highly recommend checking this place out!! 👏❤👐

Cute place! Got a couple different pastry items and they were all good. Cold press was also tasty. Sweet staff as well. I'll be back!

This spot has quickly moved up the rotation. I always leave full, satisfied & energy. I just wish my stomach could handle one of everything each visit!
