This place is great! The white chocolate raspberry iced coffee was so incredibly good! The cheesecake is WONDERFUL! prices were reasonable too! Everyone who goes to Bridgeport should stop at this place!

As an out-of-stater, Almost Heaven is a MUST visit every time I come into the state. Have not had a single bad experience or food here. The coffee can’t be beat, the cannolis are the best I’ve had, and the lunch and breakfast food items are delicious.

I love this place! I am always thrilled with my visits here and look forward to coming when I am in the area. Delicious desserts and very good coffee and other beverages. This location is small, but it is a gem. My family loves stopping by when we pass through for sweets, coffee, and cocoa, but they offer much more as well. The staff are always kind, respectful, and helpful. Highly recommend.

So I have a day off and decided to find a place to do paperwork outside of the hotel. Blackberry turnover and Jasmine tea. Great combo. The turnover is large but thin so it's not too heavy. Good flavor ro the pastry so I bet the pies are really good also. Friendly staff and just a great place to stop. Recommended 👍

Had a dear friend decide to bring me a coffee and treat. I was so excited by the surprise. My coffe was amazing. I've never gotten a bad coffee there. The treat was a round, reddish-pink cake with white frosting. It was a mini-cake, I guess, bigger than a cupcake and no paper liner. It was so pretty and tasted like...nothing. I have no idea what flavor it was supposed to be. The cake was very dry and tasteless. The frosting was just lard/butter and sugar with no flavor except just very sweet. Quite dissatisfied with it. For the price asked for your items...do better.

When I first started coming here, this review was a 5-star review. The food was incredible, portions were really good, and the prices were reasonable.
It is a shame to have to say that the quality has fallen pretty far in a few ways, worst being that they are repeatedly serving salads with lettuce that is starting to rot. Chances are they just aren't doing product rotation but I don't know for sure. The other thing I have noticed is that the portion sizes have shrunk in some cases to less than half what it was originally. I've received slices of dessert that were gone in four bites. The actual taste of the food is still good, but things have fallen a little too far for me to feel comfortable spending the now exorbitant prices on their products in the future.
It is a real shame because this place was top notch.

Rarely do I post reviews unless I’ve had an exceptionally positive or negative experience somewhere and I have genuinely had nothing but negative experiences at this location. I love their coffee and their food, however, I have been met with some of the worst customer service I’ve literally ever had to deal with. As a fellow business owner, it’s so wildly unprofessional to me how they have handled my experiences. The 1st time I tried to order a milkshake online and they told me they were closing in an hour so they couldn’t make me one even though I had already paid for it and acted like they had no idea what to do when I asked for a refund or a substitution. Like an HOUR before closing and you’re just done? Ok I let that one slide….there have been more, l but my most recent experience was when I went to use my rewards I had earned from still continuing to support their store (don’t ask me why), the app glitched and deleted all my stars and when I called to ask if they would still honor my free drink, the MANAGER of the store said there’s absolutely nothing they could do. I mean are you serious? It took me TEN purchases to earn those stars, and you can’t even give me a voucher for a free drink? Seriously have never had a worst experience with a store that, despite all the negative experiences, I tried to continue to support. So much for supporting local.

The food at AH is always wonderful. However, their lattes and specialty drinks are not great. I find I can make a better latte or mocha at home and I can certainly get a better one from other local coffee shops. I’ll keep coming back for the pastries and Mountain Mama sandwich but I’ll be skipping the speciality coffees.

Tried the Bridgeport location for the first time today. I ordered lunch. I got a 16 oz cold brew with almond milk and sugar free caramel. I also ordered the caprese panini. Total came to just under 15.00, which was okay because I have been wanting a caprese panini for a while since Panera took it off their menu and Starbucks never has them. I ordered online for pick up, navigating their website was decently easy so that is a plus. When I got there to pick up my order, there were 4 employees so I was glad the service would be decently quick. I received my order a few minutes late but I didn’t really care because I was not in a huge rush, just off to work for the day. I got my coffee first and it was really good, I sipped on it while I waited. Normally when you get cold brew with things added to it, it is bland, but this one was good. I got the panini a couple minutes later and wasn’t sure what to expect for over 8.00. I thought I would just get the panini. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and there was also chips and ranch in there ( it may be good to specify that when ordering. I could have missed it though.). I was glad that they included that. My pleasant surprise quickly turned to disappointment however because 1.) when I went to put the side of balsamic vinegar on my panini, the tomatoes were cut so thick (at least 1.5 to 2 inches thick) that when I went to eat my sandwich it was a slip and slide and got all over my shirt and face. 2.) I didn’t get any napkins, but it could have been a beginners mistake as they may have been on the counter for me to pick up myself. 3.) before I even bit into the thing, there was hair crusted into some of the cheese on the outside of the panini. I picked it off and went on about my day, because I really didn’t wanna wait another 10 minutes for another one. It kind of was a let down unfortunately. For 15.00 I could have went somewhere familiar and had the quality I expected. Employees weren’t over friendly, but they were ok in attitude. Coffee was ok. Just wish it gave me more. 🥺
