Chimney Corner Cafe

Just happened to pass this on a road trip and decided to turn around to eat here, and man we weren't disappointed! Incredible location, structure, atmosphere and food. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again.

It was closed, with no indication as to whether it would reopen. It looked pretty deserted, yet still had some chairs sitting on a small stage at a small outdoor "amphitheatre," probably not more than 100 seats or so. Hard to tell what the deal is with the place. Maybe seasonal? We were there on a Monday, October 22.

We've been looking forward to visiting with them but the portions was small the live music was so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with my wife. The chips didn't have any flavor, the $13 barbecue was good but small, the $10 cheese fries should of been on the kids menu. For the price we shouldn't of been walking out still hungry.

My family recently enjoyed a really great meal at the Chimney Corner Café! Our server was so cool and funny! She recommended the pulled pork nachos and boy, were they awesome! Their smoked wings and Buffalo chicken sandwich were soooooo good! Place had a really unique, mountainy feel that makes us want to come back for more. We find ourselves in this area of WV quite frequently during Gauley season and it's nice to know that this place is close by. The Chimney Corner Country Store across the street is really neat too! Everyone, even kids, enjoyed the visit to this cute restaurant on a country crossroad of beautiful West Virginia!

The ice cream was tasty, but was told $4.85. For 2 scoops in a waffle cone and when we went to pay she said I made a mistake it's 5.98 for 2 scoops, is that okay?. Sorta had to be due to it melting and we were standing there already eating it. Should know prices.

Very nice setting on back deck over looking the creek. Friendly staff, and good food...

Great place to end your day after all the activities in New River Gorge! Staff, food & band were all excellent.

Worst experience Ive had at a restaurant. My food was forgotten and was served nearly 30 minutes after everyone else. I ordered pulled pork nacho’s and it was obvious that they poured Tostitos on a plate and poured a jar nacho cheese over them. Will never return.

Amazing venue for music and the best BBQ I've ever had!

By far the best wings I've ever had, loved the place and can't wait to go back Update...under new ownership , little different menu but still great. Very friendly and beautiful stop along the way to Hawks nest.
