Fantastic experience at Wood Iron Eatery! The food was delicious and they easily accommodated my wife’s celiac (they have gluten free bread as an option). The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Loved everything about this place! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and well portioned for the price, the music set the perfect vibe, the space has soul, and the other patrons were chill and pleasant. We will be back for sure 😁

Wood Iron Eatery is a quirky, eclectic place to grab a bite to eat near the New River Gorge Bridge. Our group tried out their fish and chicken sandwiches with a side of tots to share. The tots were great and the sandwiches were pretty alright too. The biggest complaint was that the sandwiches felt like more bun than filling and seemed small for the cost. Overall, a pretty great option for fresh food and a fun atmosphere.

Super cute coffee/food spot in the heart of historic Fayetteville. We stopped by on a Saturday morning, and clearly it’s a favorite for everyone around. There was a wait, but they got us in and out with our to-go breakfast sandwiches and coffees within minutes. I will def go back when I’m in town again.

Had their breakfast burrito. The eggs and sausage were cooked well. The staff was very polite and inviting; they always remember our usual orders. My friends and I eat here all of time and is a must try if you're in the area.

Excellent breakfast. The handheld was spicy but pleasantly counter balanced by the sweet fennel sausage. Waffles tender with fresh blueberries. Mocha was delicious.

Great place for coffe and breakfast. Their food is delicious and food came out very quickly. Love the atmosphere with stellar service. Also brownie points for having Sriracha my favorite hot sauce.

I liked this place a lot. Super friendly staff and good food, just expensive for the area. Stuffed full of college-aged folks, but you had a good mix of older families in there too. I got the Green Bowl, and it wasn’t ingenerous in size (and of course, it tasted great), but one would expect some sort of grain to be included for $11 - maybe quinoa or bulgar or something like that. Ah well - salads are expensive because they sour quickly, I get it. Other than that, expect to wait in line for 5-10 minutes to order (maybe even out the door), but to have your food delivered in a fairly quick manner - the cooks and baristas really are pumping out orders as best they can. You’ll have drip coffee before the end of your order, lattes soon after, food about 7-10 minutes after that. The gist of this place? Good food served by very friendly staff to younger folk who expect higher prices because they’ve ordering more perishable food (such as avocado toast) anyways.

Side note: Bacon is candied (i.e baked with sugar), so if you can only stand crispy bacon, just ask for it off instead of bothering the cashier for two minutes about deep frying it, like the Karen-in-making did in front me. Bless the employee who had to deal with that…

Both times I visited they were busy, yet the staff remained incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service fast. The coffee is tasty too. I've tried the espresso shot and Spanish latte. Their espresso is pretty light and fruity, but not super bold/deep. I enjoyed it a lot on its own. It's great in the creamy and sweet Spanish latte made with sweetened condensed milk. Although it's lightness hides it a bit in the sweet milk. The food is also really good: I had a Big Burrito that was stuffed full with eggs and tater tots and a pepper jelly that complimented everything very well. Will be going again :)

Absolutely love Wood Iron! Their rock fish sandwich is delicioussss. Artsy decorations and outdoor/indoor seating. Go support local!
