I have been to Cathedral for breakfast and lunch several times, but this was my first time experiencing one of their dinners. Experience it definitely was! The special Valentines weekend dinner was superb, the always wonderful ambience of the place was transformed into a romantic atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We dined early to avoid a crowd and were one of three tables. However, it felt as intimate as if we were dining privately with our own personal chef and waitstaff. Special holiday touches like heart-shaped rolls and strawberries were a lovely surprise. If you haven't decided where to dine for V-Day, Cathedral will not disappoint!

What an amazing little find. My family and myself stopped here on our way back home from a trip to Pittsburgh.
I got the chicken salad croissant and I was not disappointed. My family grabbed several different sandwiches and they all looked amazing and got great reviews from each individual.
I also grabbed a specialty iced latte as well and it was very good. Please keep up the good work, we will be stopping here again soon! Highly recommended!!

Good artsy atmosphere. Easy to get to. The food was good and plenty of beverage options. When you go in there’s menus on a small table. You then place your order with a staff member who gives you a number. Take the number and sit down where you want… then when you’re order is ready they bring it out to you. There’s indoor and outdoor seating or you can do takeout.

Cool atmosphere! The chicken salad croissant was delicious!! I’d never had one with cranberry jelly before, and I loved every bite. I also enjoyed seeing all the puppy dogs and so glad that the place is dog friendly.

I had high expectations for the Cathedral Cafe & Book Store during our visit to Fayetteville. They have gluten free bread, which was nice because my wife has intolerance to gluten. Unfortunately our order took so long given to rush hour in a
snowy day—what started a takeout had to turn into a dine in experience with our children. My croissant with ham, cheese and egg was okay, wish it could have been more roasted. The dining space is big and welcoming.

This place is awesome! A great alternative to Tudors before a day a climbing. Lots of options and everything we had delicious. The service was great too. Unfortunately forgot to check out the store before we left, but we will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I ordered lunch carryout from Cathedral Cafe today - it was absolutely delicious! It only took them 15 minutes max to get it together. The food was packaged securely. I got the Loaded Chicken Salad Croissant and would highly recommend it. I will definitely be back!

One of the most popular places in Fayetteville. Expect a longer wait time especially during the weekend. Prices are very reasonable and service is quick.
We really loved the latte and banana pudding cheese cake. Breakfast items were mediocre. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and potatoes were too peppery. The decor and Ambience makes it very unique and picturesque especially since it was a church before.
I would highly recommend adding Cathedral Cafe to your itinerary if you are visiting New River Gorge National Park.

We went today and did the Bridge Walk tour and our guide recommended the Cathedral Cafe. It sounded very interesting so we decided to give it a try. We loved it! The smoked Turkey, Bacon & Avacado Panini was delicious, everything tasted very fresh, the bread was soft and crisp in the right places, the avacado added a nice creamy texture, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend got the Loaded Chicken Salad Croissant, and the croissant was enormous. The chicken salad looked excellent and the croissant was very buttery and flaky.
The restaurant itself looked very nice inside. It's set up in an old church (which explains the name) and the stained glass from the old church is still there and adds a beautiful touch. We got our food to go so we didn't get to spend much time in the restaurant itself, but we'll have to fix that next time we're in the area. Very cool little place, and we'll definitely be back.

Loved getting quick breakfasts here before our days of hiking, rafting, and driving. The nut honey lattes and cinnamon rolls are so good and they have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options :)
