Great find! Breakfast all day which is what I had. The frittata was excellent. Service was great and it is a very unique and beautiful space inside an old church. Well definitely be back when visiting the new River Gorge again!

We were excited to try this place on our drive through. The menu selections looked intriguing. However, I was a bit underwhelmed it tasted…okay… just nothing memorable. While the atmosphere was very cool, I think you can find better options elsewhere…

I am not a fan of order at register and get your number. Then there is no follow through, nearly like serve yourself (might should give myself 5 stars). Overall the place is worth a stop. Food was good.

Really good London fog, sandwich was amazing, chill atmosphere, LGBTQ friendly. Could definitely spend a little money on ornaments, books etc so watch your wallet. Friendly staff.

Busy but not like crazy busy. Extremely slow for the amount of people there. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Nice selection of local products, souvenirs, and gifts. Parking was reasonable but be prepared to parallel park. Staff was friendly.

I had the Flaky French Toast Croissants. Excellent! My husband had the Farmer's breakfast and a Milky Way latte. Again, excellent!

Killer brunch and brekkie location housed in a 19th century church. Caters to the crag hoppers, river runners, and your average tourist. Scratch kitchen style food serving a la carte pancakes and french toast, eggs, and all your brekkie favorites. Full coffee menu with several espresso options. All food and coffee is sustainably sourced, much of it being local. Get there when the open to avoid the long waits as they don't offer call ahead seating.

Well done breakfast and steaming coffee, and for me a side order of sacrilege. Really cool venue with the stained glass, glad to see old buildings brought back to life.

Cathedral Café is a quaint little place in a former church. If you're in a hurry this ain't the place for you. The food was really good. Our party had the 'Loaded Chicken Salad Croissant', 'Classic Rueben', & 'Hot Italian Panini' with 'Ultimate Carrot Cake' & 'Bread Pudding w/Caramel Creme Sauce' for dessert. All agreed that the food was very good, however the reason that the Cathedral Café only received 3 stars is twofold. First, the restaurant does not have a handicapped accessible entrance. If you're unable to negotiate the 4-5 fairly steep stairs then you won't be able to get inside. And secondly their beverage menu says "bottomless" sodas & "bottomless" fresh brewed ice tea, though no one in our party received a beverage refill even after asking for it. For these two reasons, I have deducted two stars from the overall rating. Truthfully, it's pretty much a toss up if I'll ever return.
