Crafted

I still cannot believe how delicious the food was at Crafted! I will continue to remember the ribeye as one of the best things I have ever eaten as the crusted was perfect and maple yogurt worked so well with the coffee rub. Octopus was incredibly tender and ramen noodles brought on a nostalgic feeling for me. The waitress and staff was attentive and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to find an amazing food spot here in Yakima.

Crafted is excellent. Pricey, yes, but perfect for a special night out. We got the chef's choice and could not have been happier. It was amazing to try so many yummy courses: oysters, beets, scallops, pasta, venison, and a smoked brule for dessert. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. I will definitely go back again.

Delicious food, especially my partner enjoyed elk tartar. Would love to see more seafood options. Also suggest serving oyster mighnonette on the side us it was to overvelming.

We must of gone there on a off night because everyone’s food (party of 4) was a total fail.

- mignonette on oysters was underwhelming
- parsnips were undercooked and hard
- scallops were under-seasoned
- braised beef was dry and missing sauce/gravy
- beef tartare was way too spicy
- pork loin was cooked too rare

On top of it, plates were slow in coming out and my husband’s dish came after everyone was done eating. The young server did credit his plate but it did not change our mind about the disappointing experience. We will not return.

Innovative restaurant in Yakima. Went here after some wine tasting down the road and was not disappointed with the food. If you are looking for a great meal in Yakima, check out this gem! The service was great. The cocktails were just ok but again the food was out of this world. Will drive back to Yakima just to go here again.

One must get the chef’s menu at least once in their lifetime! Great service and unique food!

Crafted is a wonderful culinary experience. The service was excellent and personable and the food was truly exceptional. The menu initially feels overwhelming, but we soon realized we could not go wrong with anything ordered. The family-style, shared plates add to the experience. We started with the blue cheddar cheese plate paired perfectly with nuts and fruits, sublime with our Red Mountain Syrah and Crafted’s own Red blend (a collaboration with Gilbert’s cellar). We then had a unique rice “salad” which had flavors of pad Thai with a entirely different texture of crispy fried rice balls to go along with house sausage and loads of fresh herbs. Next up was a spaghetti (homemade noodles, certainly to the teeth) with sardines and walnut bread crumbs which melded to a surprisingly mellow but fully delicious sauce. Lastly, we finished with a pork porterhouse with cocoa nibs and picante peppers, accompanied by collard greens, heirloom carrots and sweet potatoes. The meat was perfectly cooked, and one of the best pork cuts I’ve had. We finished with some house cocktails that were traditional, but with a twist, and very well crafted. Overall, a must have experience when in Yakima.

Get the Tell Me I'm Pretty Cocktail. Lightly sweet. Insanely complex. Pair it with the Elk Tartare. I could just die!

What a great experience. The service was amazing, our waitress went to battle for me with the kitchen to make sure they fully understood my dietary restrictions. The kitchen did a fantastic job, the food was spot on, perfectly cooked, seasoned and of the highest quality. Branzino, wonderfully fresh, the strip steak was a beautiful piece of meat, the apps, wow!!! I could go on and on. Crafted is not to be missed.

Amazing food. The menu of locally sourced food changes daily. A fine dining experience in little Yakima. The service is great, the food was unique and surprising and very good. Appetizers, small plates, and full entrees meant we could get several things to share. Next time we'll spring for the "chef's choice" and let them bring several courses not even on the menu.
