We shared a wonderful meal with another couple last night at Crafted. This is a place where you share the plates if you want. Family style. Everything that we ordered was a treat. Sometimes uniquely prepared in very good way. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Oh and the ahi tuna was very fresh and tasty. We sat for a long time working our way down the menu enjoying the food and drinks. The service was awesome. Never felt rushed but well cared for. The menu changes all the time as they source what is fresh locally as much as they can. I can’t wait to go back.
It's always a treat when I get a chance to go to Crafted. The food and cocktail menu is constantly changing with new and innovative selections. I've never had anything from here that was less than spectacular. Great service and ambiance as well. Hands down the best restaurant around!
What a great surprise! Visiting Yakima for the weekend and on a whim tried this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and sat immediately. We had the tasting menu and every item was delicious! Service was charming and prudent. Would easily recommend this to anyone in Yakima looking for a great meal.
My boyfriend and I recently visited Yakima and ended up eating here two nights in a row because we had such a great experience the first time around. Everything we had was so flavorful, well balanced and thoughtfully put together. Some of the standouts we had were definitely the Bavette Steak and the Scallops with chana masala. Would definitely recommend sitting at the Chef's Counter unless you actually want to have a conversation with your date instead of just staring gaped mouth at the delicious plates of food being assembled in the kitchen.
Attentive service and genuine interest in their guests having a nice evening. Had the chef tasting menu and a few courses missed the mark. All the wines with pairing we're good themsleves but the pairing itself with the food was off for a few courses. If in Seattle we'd come back for just cocktails (which were great!). But for Yakima and the limited selection of destination restaurants I'd say it's one of the best.
Good food and great atmosphere. But it is priced and marketed like a place that is aiming to amaze you with great cuisine and service. Chef's menu of Asian inspired seafood was for some reason finished off with a pork schnitzel they referred to as a BLT. It started with some nice oysters and did well until the end. Dessert was a lackluster peach and griddle burnt biscuit. Other desserts around the room seemed to be excellent. What I would guess was a strawberry rhubarb pie at the next table smelled heavenly. I would have ordered one but the chef menu was at least plenty of food.
I would really like to see this place succeed but it needs step up the professionalism in its service and the flavor building in its dishes. Or lower the prices to match the casual dining experience it currently does well at providing. Other guests may also have had a better experience ordering their own choice of dishes.
Not only was the service fantastic, but the food has been one of THE BEST PLACES IN WASHINGTON to eat. THE ONLY ONE. I have EVER had. It was that wonderful. They buy from local businesses, change their menu weekly and it's beautiful inside the establishment. Definitely go and visit.
