C & S Coffeehouse Terrace Heights

I normally love C&S drinks but tonight my sister picked up some drinks tonight and they were super chalky.

She ordered me a peanut butter mocha big train and it was so chalky and it tasted like milk, no additional flavoring at all.

She ordered a white chocolate mocha and the espresso tasted burnt, the white chocolate could not be tasted and gave her a weird after taste.

So glad we found this place online! Great coffee and food options with a lively and hip vibe. We got a pair of breakfast croissants with eggs, cheese, and bacon and were surprised by the large size compared to many other coffee shops. Tasted just as good as it looked too! Service was very friendly and welcoming. May go back for lunch before we leave town!

Bottom line: everything was...ok.

Nothing we ordered was completely terrible. But both the hot and iced lattes were bland and mostly just tasted of milk, except the hot latte, which was sweetened without being ordered with sweetener, and ended up being overly sweet. The breakfast burrito was somehow almost completely without flavor. The "toasted" everything bagel with cream cheese was just kind of warm and chewy, like it had been microwaved, and was also somehow greasy. The prices don't match the quality, and to top it off the customer service was subpar. So, we ended up with caffeine. And some food. Which I guess was the goal, but I wouldn't return, and unless you're in a pinch, you can probably find better.

The food here just isn't really all that great. Smoothies were listed as fresh fruit but definitely tasted like the strawberries in a bag full of sugar. Just was pretty blah.

Pros: Fast, prices are ok, food is good when made as ordered.

Con: We go to this place often and they get our order wrong (not exaggerating) 80% of the time. I can't remember the last time they got our entire order correct. Do not go here if you have food allergies. I'm lactose-intolerant and always ask for oat milk, no cheese, etc., but they frequently use normal milk and cheese anyway. My husband always asks for white coffee, but they almost always use normal espresso (we were wondering today if they even have white coffee since we ask for it so often and never get it.) You want it hot? They give you cold. You want flavor? They won't give you any. No nuts on your sandwich? Too bad, you get nuts. It's honestly comical at this point.

This issue could easily be resolved if the batistas wrote down orders and used the repeat-back method. It's pretty basic customer service.

New favorite breakfast place. You can now get pancakes with eggs over easy and sausage patties. Or on the more healthy side a scramble bowl with your choice of veggies for low carb high protein! Fresh made to order.

Very fresh and delicious sandwiches and soups! Way better than sub shops. Fast friendly service. Clean stores. Delivery available. If you ask for all the veggies on the sandwich be sure you are hungry.

C & S Coffehouse in Terrace Heights is the ONLY coffeehouse I will go to. The coffee is awesome and the food is great. But the employees are the best. Always warm and friendly.

Had a great muffin breakfast sandwich one day this week, and a BLT the next day, both very good, hot, along with the coffee. Clean inside, busy, and friendly staff, a good place to chill when you need to.

I really have found this coffee place is more than coffee & energy drinks. I get my lunch there at least three times a week. They have great choices and some even healthier than fast food. I enjoy they're detox water too.

Love this place on Terrace Heights the ladies there are so sweet and welcoming and great customer service. No attitude like the one on 40th. Ex: If my coffee was not what I liked and asked them to add more flavor they would give attitude or argue with me and I would leave there upset. But at the Terrace Heights they accommodate me and fix it with a smile and apology. So I rather drive all the way there than to go to the one down the street. Anyways I recommend this place in Terrace Heights. ❤❤❤
