Coffee was good but the barista with short brown hair had an attitude towards us. As I sat to drink my coffee, I noticed her treat other customers with a bad attitude as well. I don’t go back to restaurants like that.

—Ugly service and poor tasting drinks—
The only barista (male) wore no mask. The signage posted on their door, and response to their google reviews says masks are required. Are their employees exempt? Do you not follow local public health guidelines? According to the responses to your other reviews, you do, but that’s clearly not the case.
Edited to add—I politely inquired by message to ask what their mask policies are, and was blocked from their page…Seems odd for a local business, especially in these times, to not only blatantly ignore customers, but public health measures as well.

Excellent service- quick, friendly, knowledgeable. And to the young lady that helped me pick the yogurt bowl- yes, you were right, that apple compote was AMAZING!! Also loved the atmosphere; clean, comfortable, chic, but not… overdone. Hope we can stop by for the dia de los muertos celebration!!

Go here if you want coffee made by someone who knows coffee. Not just a company that knows roasting, not just well extracted coffee or espresso, but really coffee as a whole.
This is some of the best coffee I’ve had. Truly tasty coffee with a real flavor profile. Rich but smooth, really Well extracted. The Rwanda coffee is really wonderful, with a fruity acidity, rich but subtle flavor, very little bitterness and bright notes at the end. The freshness of the coffee really shines through.
Talking with the barista during a slow period you can tell they really do understand the whole coffee process as an art and a science. They can really care about the coffee as a craft. There is real beauty in the way they treat coffee and it makes a difference in the end product.

If you want an amazing cup of coffee and knowledgeable baristas, come here. The roast they use for their espresso is straight up fantastic, possibly the best espresso I have ever had. I have a lot of out-of-town visitors and all have agreed this place is amazing. Relaxed vibe for hanging out and working on your computer, although it can get a bit busy on the weekends being right at the farmer's market. I discovered this place a few months ago and have been back multiple times. Love Kafiex!

I travel all over the country, and always seek out independent coffee shops, and their coffee is amongst the best that I've had. The service is prompt and friendly, but the vibe is definitely take your time and chillax. Highly recommend.

This place has it all. Views of downtown including well-known Esther Short park, on a perfect corner location... clean inside and modern furnishings. It's small, a local business walking distance from waterfront park... good service, and of course excellent coffee. I like the big windows, open space, and roaster on display - yes, they roast and sell their beans. Suitable for advanced coffee tastes and beginners wanting an education. Dairy free, gluten free, and vegan alternatives too.

Been there twice now (busy and not) and it has been a good experience both times.
Nice folks, clean, plenty of offerings to drink and dine on.
Baked goods are outstanding. Not sure I could visit Point Vancouver and not stop in!
Welcome addition to the Point.

They don't deserve your money. You deserve better coffee.
Life is short, let's support good companies together!
Kafiex, I hope you figure out what you're doing cause you sure enjoy being a negligent business.
And we know what happens to those!
For those curious, the manager finds it acceptable to not pay his employees and feels like he needs to intimidate them by claiming harassment… to little young girls who are way smaller than him and only asked for their pay when it was a good 700+$ paycheck. Asking why he doesn’t want to pay them? Not sure, you ask him. The court of law will soon shortly too.
