Staff was very friendly and helpful! The space is beautiful and open with good amount of seating. But the coffee was not good. I threw my nitro cold brew out. My friends Chai was good but for the price not really worth it. If it were less expensive I probably would not have left a 3 star review. But pretty disappointed with my $6 coffee.

We had a lovely experience, a good recommendation to consume and new favorite place 🫶🏻

Well, this new independent coffee shop is right near home for us, but somehow it's taken a couple months to get in and try it. Unfortunately for us, we picked a holiday where they were closing early. We bought vanilla lattes with house made syrup with a very tasty espresso used. Can't wait to come back for a pour over and longer hangout in their cool space!

The coffee is fantastic. A true cup of coffee that doesn't disappoint. Deborah is incredibly passionate and the space is amazing.
Incredible wheat free pastries that made my day!

Had a wonderful first visit here! Not only was the coffee awesome, but Spencer was a fantastic barista to meet and chat with. We were lucky to visit at a slow time in the afternoon, and it turned into an impromptu tasting at no extra charge. Will definitely be back soon!

The best coffee in Spokane. One of the nicest coffee shops I have ever seen. The price point is totally justified by the experience, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and quality of the space, and the focus on local, natural, and sustainable practices by a small coffee roaster.

Very disappointed. My fiancé asked for a matcha with almond milk but instead got "minor figures oat milk" which is not certified gluten-free. She has celiac disease and gluten makes her very ill, which is why almond milk was requested and when we asked he did not offer to fix it and said the oat milk is gluten-free, which a quick google search says otherwise.
Also, it gets worse. When we walked in, he was trying to make other orders, so I said "we have a big order so I'll wait" and his response was a gesture to his head to indicate he could do it. So I started simple with two nitro-palmer's and he replied with "what cream or milk?" I was confused and asked "in a Palmer?" And he said "I thought I meant cold brew." So again I tried to wait and give him a chance to be less busy but he insisted he could get it, and walked over to the register. Yet I did not get nitro lemonade in either of them when we received them.
We then proceeded with our order hoping that maybe it was just a fluke about the lemonades and I honestly didn't care that much, and that's when the matcha got the wrong milk. The matcha was also supposed to be an iced drink but came with no ice and was instead just shaken with it, making it more of a " lukewarm" drink.
We got 5 drinks and a donut, the donut was also almost forgotten. For spending nearly $40 I'd say I'm pretty disappointed that half of them were incorrect and now we have to wait and see if someone will become ill because of this. I hope they can get more than one worker to fill orders as I think this would help prevent future problems similar to our own.

Holy Cow! Hands down amazing baked goods, delicious coffee & first class service! Absolutely worth every penny!!
On a business trip with a group of 'hard to please' clients from San Diego and Seattle- that all LOVE good coffee. A few were gluten free and one was vegan- I was tasked with pleasing everyone. I looked up 1st ave., loved what I read, and rolled the dice with taking my clients here. Something for everyone, and not just a few lame choices that I am used to at most places- they make everything in house with clean, whole ingredients- everything was absolutely delicious and two of my clients went back the next day to purchase coffee and baked goods to take back to Seattle and San Diego.
I'm honestly surprised as I scrolled down and read a few other reviews.. but then again, I also feel if you have an adverse experience at any establishment, you should speak to a manager or owner, and give them the feedback. Posting negative comments lacks integrity.
Personal note- I consider coffee food, and I damn well expect artisan coffee houses to respect sourcing, and staff to truly understand what they are serving -along with the taste profile. Their commitment to 'clean' coffee and 'ethical' sourcing is rare and absolutely commendable!!
I'm friggen' delighted with everything and admittedly geeking out, knowing on each business trip to Spokane, I have this gem of a coffee house to look forward too! If your VEGAN or GF, they've got you covered with donuts, gluten free breakfast hand pie, Keto cranberry tart (with sugar free whole organic fat whip), endless healthy baked goods and grab and go snacks...COME ON!!!!

Great tea but it was very loud echoy room full of hipster-bro-white men talking loudly the whole time I was there.
