This is a great place! Creative drinks and normal friendly people! I preordered their Easter donut decorating kit and they were SUPER accommodating to my needy self 😅 great gf/v options too!

Earlier today, I came by for an iced americano & was blown away. Their Mexican single origin espresso was 10/10, as was the customer service. So happy to see our coffee community coming through. Cheers ✨

Nice atmosphere, nice relaxing inde music, good coffee, plenty of options, plenty of space. I was surprised how good the cinneomon donut was. It had a texture I've never tasted before, somehow both grainy and moist. Not too sweet, just right.

This was my first visit and I'm totally hooked on the cold brew! The site is awesome with fantastic art and lots of room to hang out. My only regret is that I didn't try any of their baked goods! I could smell them baking but I didn't think to get something until after I left. Oh well, that just means I have to go back tomorrow...in the name of research, of course.

I've had the chance to work out of First Avenue more and more, and I've really enjoyed the warm culture that they have. Baristas are more than happy to engage in conversation and teach you about the coffee processes and variety of roasts that they have, making you feel like you've learned something after. Delicious coffee, great team and a warm and inviting spot!

I had one of their drips. Not sure which. Super bitter at the end, not a lot of flavor to begin with. Bought one of their limited edition Columbia roasts and it also has a super bitter after taste even while making in a chemex. Gave 3 stars for great location and snacks.

Lovely space, but our pour over tasted like they shorted us about a third of the beans that should have been in it. They’re also still using paper cups, which is wasteful and ruins the taste of coffee, and I’m not convinced that it’s effective in limiting covid transmission.

The best coffee in Spokane IMO. Roast House coffee is perfection and it is woman-owned and has sustainable business practices. The baristas at First Ave are all very knowledgeable and skilled. My favorite thing to get is a macchiato because the shots are always delicious and it’s paired with sparkling water and a short bread cookie. They’re pricing is very fair for the excellent products they offer. First Ave’s location is convenient and within walking distance of central downtown. The interior is spacious and industrial with lots of natural light. You can sit at the huge street-side windows, or tuck in up in their cozy mezzanine. I highly recommend this place and it’s one of my favorite places to visit in Spokane.

Very very impressed! By far the best doppio I've found in Spokane! Once upon a time I was a baristo in Seattle for around 7 years and needless to say I was neck deep in the coffee culture there. At one point I was training for competition so pulling shots of espresso was an art to me. First Avenue Coffee exudes passion for coffee through their product. Amazing crema as well as balanced acidity, flavor, and volume...they know their stuff and they pull a darn good shot of espresso to say the very least!
