I've been coming here almost daily for >5 years. It's like cheers in Seattle. Great staff, great coffee. Neighborhood standard with a consistent set of regulars and personalities.
Also a great place to hunker down and work with your laptop.

This place is very chill. Nice pleasant atmosphere, great coffee, excellent music. Often patronized by college students and other laptop-workers. A little spendy but hey it's Seattle.

One of the nicest coffee shop atmospheres I've found so far. Definitely cozy. Lots of people bring board games on the weekend and spread them out on the large tables they have available. Somewhat niche coffee and tea options differentiate them from other places as well.

I think the best thing about the menu are the great flavors of chai that they offer. Personally, the lavender chai was my favorite but you cannot go wrong with any of the others. As for coffee, I usually judge a place on their lattes and this place makes the cut. Also enjoyed the ham croissant that was perfectly toasted and as flaky as a croissant should be. Beware of the heavy foot traffic this place may receive. I came in after a gang of people had a Saturday morning run of some sort.

Ample seating, almost all of which serves as good workspaces. Perfect amount of noise/activity for a cafe. Not too loud that it becomes distracting and not too quiet that it is uncomfortable keeping a conversation. The coffee is delicious and they have creative specialty drinks.

I ordered a large latte and instead got a large cup of tepid milk with a hint of coffee flavor. The most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth! DISGUSTING! No wonder the cafe was empty!! Gross.

Best little coffee place near Green lake. The coffee is fantastic and the cafe is cozy and ideal to hang out after a walk around the lake. It is loud and busy on the weekend. Don't come to study or work unless you like a crowd

I mean, I went there once. Seemed like a nice place. If I'd gone there twice, that would probably be enough to give it 5 stars, but I just didn't have that large of a sample size. Also, if they had made the effort to come to me at least once, that would probably be 5 stars. They don't have to even actually come over to my studio apartment, but the offer would be nice.

Zoka is a different coffee shop in a sea of the nondescript coffee shops in Seattle. You are going to get real coffee here. They hand select their blends and you can taste the difference. From their drip to all the others available you can tell they are at a different level. Good full bodied coffee across the board. Great place to meet or get some work done.
