One of my favorite coffee spots in all of Seattle. I am a coffee enthusiast to say the least and have high expectations. If you’re wanting a quality cup of espresso, then hit this place up. It’s well worth your time!

You want to feel "hip" by paying for overpriced coffee and meek service, then this is your place. My partner and I went inside for a drink after our dinner, and by not being greeted and answering our questions, it felt almost hostile. They were the worst part of the evening after a nice dinner at Rione.
I wish I would've walked out as the coffee was fine.

I had the Mulled Chai latte with almond milk
It was really good
Wish a sign with the names of the pastries( including dietary note*) were posted. Worker handed me a scone that had cheese in it.for those with food allergies it would have been nice to have that list posted

Friendly staff and fresh coffee here in CapHill. Lots of space for a quick work sesh with lots of natural lighting.

At the risk of my breakfast sandwich inventory disappearing, I want to announce these vegan alki breakfast sandwiches are effing amazing and fill a hole in the breakfast space. Thank you to Victrola for carrying them. It will keep bringing me in.

Nothing too special. Just a regular coffee place. They should either do a menu or some kind of description/names of the bakery items. It's just confusing to order without knowing the names and literally asking the barista about all of them.
Pretty average interiors too. Plenty of seating space though
In the picture. : Banana bread and cappuccino.

Expertly prepared espresso drinks in understated first gen cozy coffee shop. Oh and there's a rotation of interesting art on the walls.
Espresso:
If you are a lover of espresso shots straight up. Try their shots. This is a well balanced delicious espresso and not bitter or overly roasted.
I order their oat latte and it's smooth and wonderful.
Baristas:
Really well versed in espresso knowledge and wonderfully kind humans.
Cons:
Finding a seat can be a challenge as they are popular and busy.
Their pastries could use perhaps a better enclosed case because they often taste a little stale.

Please don’t come to this coffee shop. Yes, their coffee is great, the space is beautiful, the guest pastries are yummy, and the staff is friendly and unpretentious. But it makes my life marginally less convenient if all of you start going here as much as I do.

Great coffee, great atmosphere. Small chain shop that stands out on its own. Parking is a little difficult but if that's not a huge issue stop by and enjoy the vibe.

I’ve had terrible service every single time I’ve been here. The first couple times I brushed off, but it did leave a sour taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t have come back, but Overcast (down the street where they have great coffee and service, and the owner is very kind and friendly) was closed.
I went in with my boyfriend, who ordered a matcha latte with a shot of espresso. The barista looked at him and said something to the effect of “Is that even good?”. He had to defend his order and let her know he’s had it before. After we walked away, he hung his head and said he felt embarrassed and was second guessing his order after that. He literally cried, she was that rude.
This was the final nail in the coffin. Victrola is dead to me 😮💨 Please consider withholding your judgmental comments while serving customers at your job?
