Decent coffee shop.. the cappuccino was OK, albeit expensive ($4.10) for a 8 oz. Atmosphere and service were OK too - some new paint and furniture could spruce it up a bit. Nothing really special, but nice if you're close-by.

Coffee was pricey but good. I ordered a 16oz and got probably 12oz in my cup, I coulda bought a 12oz and saved money but I assume I woulda had 8oz in my cup. They had no whip (odd?), and the vibe was lame with no music and silence although full of people. Felt like I was in the twilight zone.

Nice place for a cup of coffee!! Great community board for local stuff. Supports local art on the walls, lots of indoor seating. Friendly staff đ

If you want a great Seattle coffee experience this is the place to go. Great place to people watch (you are after all at the top of Capitol Hill. Coffee is served in ceramic mugs rather than paper. Staff were friendly and the experience enjoyable.

The service and atmosphere were nothing special. The food was downright not very good. The croissant tasted stale and the coffee had a weird sour taste.

Pretty hostile guy working there.
That worker kicked out someone sitting next to me under the pretense of them not buying anything and taking up seats (I offered my table to people looking for one but there were plenty open on the other end of the shop).
The worker apparently had other reasons that were not obvious to me, but to me it looked like my neighbor was being mistreated (the worker had accosted them once before). When I spoke up about not seeing what they were doing wrong (as the worker was threatening them - and I was next to them the whole time they were in the cafe), the worker threatened to kick me out as well. Yikes. Thankfully a more level-headed employee could fill me in on their history with this customer - without threatening me.
Hope his day is going better now.
Other than that, pretty unremarkable as far as coffee shops go, so I'd recommend Ada's up the road or go out of your way for a place like The Station. All alternatives are more welcoming and better embedded in their communities.
Came here because Ada's up the road closed early today and I definitely regret it.

Great coffee, chill atmosphere, plenty of tables, free wifi. The friendliness of service is very hit or miss, but I don't care enough to drop a star overall.

Hard to say I like this place yet. Barista couldnât tell me what Victrola is known for or that there was a signature coffee or any uniqueness to the cafe at all. However, the espresso wasnât bad. The space is large and open with fun art from artists hanging on the wall. Not strong internet, but happy to experience it and check this coffee off the list.

Good coffee, 1 free refill for the drip coffee. Plenty of space to sit and study or work. They also have a good Wifi connection. Very friendly staff.

Great coffee and decent pastry! Place is cute with plenty of space to hang out with friends.
