Common Ground Coffee & Cupcakes

This is such a nice, cozy cafe in downtown Renton. It's a block away from my apartment, so I take a nice walk every few mornings to grab a latte. Their service is quick and friendly. There is free WiFi, and a network printer that you can use. Plenty of seating available. The lattes are always nice and hot.

I found my new favorite spot! EVERYthing about this place is great. Everyone is super friendly and the coffee is good. I highly recommend getting a cupcake when you're here. They're amazing! The cookie dough cupcake alone is to die for!

This place is amazing!! The cupcakes are made fresh and it was cool that they offered milk with the cupcake. The family that runs the business is really nice. The artwork on the walls were awesome, and I just had a good feeling about this place the moment I walked in.

A little slow because places like this are used to serving one or two people at a time. Had a family of eight in front of me. But the staff was friendly and quick -- once they got to me. The fruit oat bar is just like the one my great-grandmother made when I was a kid. I'll be back.

Great coffee, great cupcakes. If you come once or many times everyone is treated like they are the best customer. A family owned business and the whole family works there, and all of the baristas and the whole staff are so great!

Great Place. Amazing fancy latte's and food, Free Wi-fi and they open Early at 7:30 am. People are genuinely nice and my treats were perfect! So happy about this place. One thing parking is only 2hr everywhere so you will need to plan on parallel parking if you can't find the couple parking lots around which are also 2hr parking. Amazing corner location with parking spaces in front and on both sides. Easy to get to. Will try an visit again soon!

I go there for the coffee - SOOOO much better than Starbucks, and almost as good as my favorite (Vivace's).The cupcakes are quite tasty with an interesting variety of flavors. I have been in about 6 or 7 times in the past 3 months and every time the service team has been nice, friendly, and genuinely glad to see me (and they don't mind that I camp out doing computer work for 4-5 hours at a time...lol). All in in all a Wonderful place!

I like the food and offerings here, even though prices are a touch high. My real gripe is that I've been here on four visits now and service tends to be a bit slow, even on non-rush hours.

If you like locally made desserts and coffee though, this is still a place worth checking out. If you're in downtown Renton, it's worth stopping by.

Great coffee and comfortable lounge area. The decor and furniture can use a huge upgrade but not terrible. I didn't get a chance to try a cupcake but plan on coming back for some and more coffee.

Such a lovely coffee shop. The seating areas are comfortable and relaxing. The music is perfect and the owners are so friendly and kind to every person that comes in. Perfect find on a very dreary day!
