Common Ground Coffee & Cupcakes

My friend and I were out shopping and came across this amazing shop. So clean, great service from the owner/ baker HERSELF. We sat outside and ate our amazing treats. The cupcakes are baked to perfection and she put the icing on FRESH the second we ordered them. This is THE SPOT. We later found out they do icing shots. I'm not big on icing and usually throw half away... but that icing there mmmmmmmmmmm. Wowwwww

This is by far my favorite place in Renton. The smoothies cupcakes and cookies are AMAZING!! Omg especially if you’re pregnant lol I love the hospitality and the vibe they give off I just LOVE this place. Definitely my go 2 I’ll never get a smoothie from anywhere else but here !!! You guys are the BOMB !!!

Had a vanilla and chocolate cupcake. Beautifully decorated and delicious. Daughter had coffee and a vegan cupcake and she loved it. Happy to see the vegan options. Looked like they had a lot more sweets to try. The cookies looked good. Will go back. Very friendly people.

A cute little coffee shop with a few interesting places around! The helpful staff has great recommendations if you want to pick up something to eat, and the comfy furniture makes it one of my favorite places to meet with friends. It's a neat and unique atmosphere.

The owners and employees​ are very friendly and always welcoming. Good people with good life stories and positive outlook. The coffee is delicious fresh. And who can turn down the cupcakes, which are so creative and artistic, you won't want to eat them, but you will be glad you did. Treats for your dog, too.

This is my favorite coffee shop! I bring all my friends and family here. They know their customers and have my drink memorized. I love that it's a family owned business. I gave them 5stars because my experience is usually always great and my coffee is always made perfect. I will warn that they do have another barista come in from time to time. I don't see her there very often, but she does a terrible job at making my coffee. Loads of ice and milk. I can never even tell that she put coffee in there. I always order a simple white mocha with coconut milk, everyone else there does a fantastic job but on rare occasions she will be there and I regret getting my coffee, like today. I always get a 20 Oz, she gave me a 16 Oz, when I told her she just dumped my drink into a larger cup and added more milk and ice and yep that's all I taste, milk and ice. If I had more time and didn't have to catch a bus I would have said something. So just beware, otherwise it's a wonderful little Shop!

The cupcakes are always great, and they have awesome rotating, seasonal selections. Everything I've had here has been delightful and fresh.

Their coffee is also very tasty, and I'm a big fan of their London Fog! 🍵

The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Their Wild Berry smoothie is the best thing in the universe.

Great atmosphere and sweet owners! It's a family owned business so I think that's really awesome! They make their cupcakes fresh in store every morning and they specialize in greatly made coffee as well! I love the almond joy cupcake paired with a Hazelnut latte!

This place is one of my favorite coffee shops. Staff are always friendly. They make good coffee and wonderful cupcakes. My dog also loves this place because she always gets her puppuccino when she visits.
