Common Ground Coffee & Cupcakes

Both the cupcakes and coffee are so incredible. The coffee beans/syrup tastes quality and the cupcakes taste home made. Will be coming again

I love this place. The owners and staff are so friendly. The service is fast and they make excellent coffee and other treats. The brownies and cupcakes are awesome. I highly recommend this coffee house if you are ever in downtown Renton. Definitely the best in the area.

Last minute I wanted to buy cupcakes to bring to my sons gymnastic class for his birthday. I called in the morning and they were kind enough to allow me to make a custom order last minute. They were not selling vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting but made ones and then allowed me to choose the sprinkle colors so all I had to do was add the Superman cupcake decorations. They were so kind and helpful! Will definitely be back!

The area that the coffee shop is located is very good. The customer service experience I had was good. They have indoor and outdoor sitting, they both were very clean and nice. The Wi-Fi was fast, comfortable chairs. My uncle had there cupcake and seasonal drink which he liked. I wanted vegan cupcake but they ran out, so I didn’t get the chance to taste there cupcake. They also close early.

Overall it was nice.

Hands down the best cupcakes in the puget sound area! Cupcake Royale and Trophy Cupcakes: eat your heart out! Beautiful, creative, moist and perfect frosting. The sweetest local proprietors too.

Nice/cute family owned spot--coffee, smoothies, cupcakes and other baked treats. The couple/owners working the counter are so nice!! Husband working the counter and wife decorating the cupcakes as ordered. Great little spot--we'll be back again soon!

Nice, wonderful little establishment. I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and the breakfast sandwich. However, they didn't have Egg nog flavor syrup to put a shot in my coffee. (Yea I know petty 🤪😝) But seriously it's was a great spot, I'll have to go back and try a cupcake. And the owner and wife were a serious delight they stay Covid compliant as they managed their customers. #petfriendly

Small little coffee shop that was cozy enough to sit and chat. Very busy with limited staff. Not a major deal breaker though

I was under the impression that the business on 5th Ave would be open till 6pm on Sunday but as soon as I got there at 4pm she closed the window! I’m very upset, considering I come there almost everyday before work! Is this normal or is it the location? Either way it’s very disappointing.

Ditch your corporate coffee shops and support a locally own coffee shop, you won't regret it.

The coffee shop has great decor, perfect for a date or just to catch up with some friends. The coffee and teas are unique and they do not disappoint. Yes, it's a little more on the pricier side but the ambiance makes up for it.
