We stayed in Forks one night while hiking some surrounding areas & chose this cute little diner. The initial service wasn’t the greatest, maybe because we asked for a table vs a booth, I’m not certain however the service that came after was great. I’m only giving this place a 4 star for that as well as for the diner being out of the food options we wanted to order. Other than that what we did order was very good. Would eat here again if ever in the area.

Waitress very good. Food overpriced. Warm not hot. Mash potatoes cold. Waitress offered free pie. If you like dinners this would be place for you. People very friendly.

Food was great!! Due to COVID-19 Staffing issues, the meal took 1.5 hours to serve.

Very good breakfast. Polite staff. Would definitely return.

Everything is “deep” fried on very old bitter oil. Don’t order Angus melt sandwich if you want to survive after lunch! So greasy and untested! Even quesadilla was fried in the same oil! Awful food experience with nice friendly service!

We were seated promptly and our service was excellent-- thank you Chelse! We had the Reuben and the deluxe cheeseburger, both were lovely, our side salads came out before our sandwiches and were a good size. Loved the decor & explanations of local history, a wonderful stop on a fun day at the beach!

The waitress who served my husband and I must have been having a bad day... she was incredibly rude. After waiting for 55 mins for our meals (busy Sunday morning, which was understandable) I asked the waitress if the cooks could just plate our food to-go since my husband had to work soon. She replied with "well do you want to eat here or not?" She's honestly lucky I didn't walk out on her rude a$$ without paying. The food was mid.

The blond lady at the front (presume she is the owner from the way she addressed the staff) was incredibly rude. Both to us and another party. I think it is a tourist thing. Lady - if you hate tourists that much, don't have a restaurant in a town with lots of tourists.

Once we got to our waitress she was nice and accommodating. The food was okay. I would give 4 stars if it wasn't for the lady at the front, or if the lady at the front was just an employee. Reminded me of a Kitchen Nightmare episode.

Was served a severely burnt dried out burger patty,Open face. Could not believe the waitress had the balls to serve it let alone the cook letting food leave the kitchen like that. after 1.5 hour wait. They did a new one, came to table in three minutes pink in the middle. restaurant is dirty, can't you wipe down the filth? Truly disappointed with the staff. The owners don't care or it would have shown.sad that no one cares ..we won't be back ever again. All I can tell people is don't..don't go..

The food was good despite the long wait; hence the second star. The service and overall cleanliness of the restaurant was poor. It seemed that the waitress was more willing to help customers she already knew than tourist customers coming in looking for a decent meal after a long trip. Local customers or not, everyone expects and deserves to be treated with the same amount of courtesy and professionalism when entering a restaurant; especially in a tourist town.

If this is the first and only place a tourist stops in your town, and they're treated like they're not welcomed, then you just placed a bad mark on the rest of the town by your actions or lack there of. If a customer is being rude than exercise the right not to serve said customer and ask them to leave. When a child customer politely requests a piece of lemon for their fish and chips, or when the paying customer asks for the check, attitude and silence should not be the bodily language response.

Additionally, in the section of the restaurant where my family and I were sitting there was also a SWARM of flies hovering around a particular area. I was happy they didn't buzz our way, but the elderly couple (who received the same general lack of courtesy and professionalism we did) sitting near the swarm kept trying to bat them away. I don't recommend this restaurant if traveling through, or staying in Forks.
